Ratshot Posted September 23, 2009 (edited) I was looking around on Brickshelf and found these, modified cars from 7682 Shanghai Chase. I looked around Eurobricks and couldn't find them, so I'm sorry if if this has already been posted. A side shot of the car. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Skalldyr...930/auto01a.jpg A rear right angle. The trunk looks a tad bit odd A shot from up top. I like the roof a lot better than the original one, it was way to flimsy, plus Willie couldn't fit in very well. Now on to the Sedan... A side shot. The original one is no were near as good as this one. This guy put doors on and made the engine better, I don't care for the gray engine barrel though He also did a great job on the back, the rear area of the original one was very "blah" and plain. An overview. Overall, this guy did a great job fixing up the original Lego set models. I hope this gives you some ideas on modifying Indy cars, Enjoy Ratshot Edited September 25, 2009 by Svelte Ludicrously large first image removed and linked to instead

Ratshot Posted September 23, 2009 (edited) Black car is almost like the Rolls-Royce my minifigures need. I would love to see a Rolls-Royce car in some upcoming Indy sets. Edited September 23, 2009 by Ratshot
Batbrick Posted September 24, 2009 Wow! They both look fantastic and a big improvement over the originals. The only thing I don't like is the grey barrel on the black car, though the opening doors are sweet! Batbrick Away!
Svelte Posted September 25, 2009 Ratshot, thanks for sharing, but please don't post enormous images directly into the forums - that first pic was 3000 pixels wide! The site guidelines specify a maximum of 800. I will leave the other 1000+ wide images as there's only about 5 but add a warning to your thread title. Thanks! Capt. Redblade Posted September 28, 2009 Hm. Take the roof off that modified sedan and you could have yourself a Raiders staff car.
samthelegoman1 Posted September 29, 2009 I think an all silver car would work better for the hood in the black car
Milan Posted October 4, 2009 There was some significant effort invested in these models, but I just do not like them.
