Recommended Posts

Hello EB

(I found this ad on youtube.)

In the total start from the movie you can see a Shock Stormtrooper (HMMM!)

When Lego star wars emblem explodes you can see him run.

(when the man that talks says "The Empire is on the attack!".)

If you cant see the vid here is a Link!

So?

This is the shock trooper from the old battle pack.

That commercial is old.

It's not a clone its a stormtrooper, there isn't a red stormie.
They put the Clone printed design on a Stormtrooper helmet for the purpose of this commercial.

Nothing new.

Also notice how they use the Clone BP speeder.

Yep and that Shock is the Clone shock trooper not any Storm trooper variant.

Everyone is right, those helmet prints are from the Clone Troopers Battle Pack.

I guess that this can be closed?

He's right, KimT. That is definitely a stormtrooper with shock trooper markings.

However, I don't think this has any relevance to new sets, and was probably a simple mistake by the animator.

Well noticed, FORCES.

:hmpf:

Ok, so the animated stormtrooper has been given the same markings as the clone shock trooper.

Can we agree to that?

Why?

I really don't care.

How old is this commercial anyways and why even bother focusing on an old commercial?

Artistic freedom?

Just like the battle droids use an AT-AT in the "Quest for R2D2", isn't it?

Because there isn't an red stormtrooper released anywhere

Your point being?

I don't get it.

You see an old commercial, it has an unreleased fig and then you start a topic on it.

Are we going to have topics on everything in the LEGO Star Wars commercials that doesn't exist as a regular fig or set?

It's an old commercial.

Old.

That means if they were going to make the fig, they would have. Did they? No, because it was never supposed to be made.

This is a commercial from, what, 2006? 2007?

It's almost 2010. I don't think we're going to get a figure from an animated commercial that's three to four years old. I don't think there is such a thing as a shock storm trooper anyway.

Sorry, but that isn't going to happen. People take everything as a hint at a new set or theme. :hmpf:

Edit for spelling.

Indeed.

Now can we move on?

Thanks anyway for bringing this to our attention, FORCES. :classic:

I'm sure you had our best interests at heart when you thought you'd show us.

It was nice to see how a shock stormie would look.

:hmpf:

Don't go there.

I am merely trying to figure out what the point is.

I agree that what we're seeing is a Stormtrooper with Clone Shock Trooper markings.

But we also see a clone speeder which kinda gives the impression that they were incorporated into this commercial to boot their sales, eventhough this commercial is about the ILC and stormies (different time).

So since this commercial is quite old (a few years), I was wondering what your idea of this topic was.

Your intro-post is a little 'short' when it comes to explaining what the point of the topic is.

That's all - no need to go "uuuuugh!!! nevermind!" on me, plus the fact that posting like that will rule you out as a mature member.

Yeah, this is kind of a pointless topic, but cool nontheless to imagine what a Lego Shock Stormie would look like, but this commercial's way too old to mean anything.
