As I said in another thread, I found the existing thread, which is here.

Indeed we do.

Thanks - I'll merge this merry bunch of duplicates into that one shortly.

I had somehow never heard of it but I just watched The Padawan Menace on Cartoon Network. It was amazing! So funny and the animation (CGI) was well done. The attention to detail such as little scratches on C-3PO made it seem very real and unlike animation. Almost everything looked like real sets.

I'm now brimming with ideas for builds thanks to some amazing background pieces built for the mini-movie. I hope some of the characters make it to minifig form in real sets. It would seem a shame since some of them were so well designed/detailed. Anybody else want an Ackbar hat now?!

That ad was really great! Did anyone else notice the fact that the X-Wing sitting on the table at the end was the new one from this year!

*huh* Are you sure that's new? I seem to remember seeing that back in '05. All those minifigs creepy me out, though.

No no, it's not new.

I just stumbled upon it on FB where LEGO pointed it out once again and with all those new videos being flashed, I thought a stroll down Memory Lane wouldn't be so bad.

Sorry if it seemed like this was new in any way

It was the first one though back in 05.

Found these on YouTube, for Toys "R" Us:

8129 AT-AT Walker:

7879 Hoth Echo Base:

I like them, but Luke's green lighsaber annoys me. A lot.

Thanks for sharing those. That lightsaber issue is indeed pretty funny.

While looking at those videos, I noticed the following ads in the related videos sidebar. I have never seen TV commercials for promos before, but then again, I don't live in the UK where newspapers periodically throw free Lego at you.
