Stauder Posted June 26, 2009 How will that job work then? Good question. What does a Master builder do? I mean, do you design an build, do you get a blueprint and build accoring to that? Do you make a blueprint and have little magical elves build? Stauder.

Mariann Asanuma Posted June 26, 2009 I was able to be there, so I was one of the first to actually be able to congratulate him in person. It was the first time that we had met in real life. I took lots of pictures of the build. I'll upload a few of them later. For those of us watching, it seemed like a long time, but for those building, the two hours flew by. I'll also be posting more of my thoughts on the Search on my blog.

ILikePi Posted June 26, 2009 (edited) Meanwhile, fellow master builder job winner Mark Larson of Indiana was already collecting fans. Several Legoland visitors wrote down his Web site address, saying they wanted to view his other creations. Looks like lots of people are already a fan of your work, Hinckley! Congratulations on getting the position of LEGO master builder. So does that mean that you're going to be building some huge creations for a LEGOLAND Malaysia amusement park? The new master builders will create large, specialty pieces for a new Legoland amusement park that's scheduled to open in Malaysia in 2013. The new associate builders will copy existing Lego designs and do gluing work, among other things, Downing said. Edited June 26, 2009 by ILikePi

Now what sort of discounts might you get from this new job? 30% for us LLC employees, and two days of the year we get 50% off, once in the summer and once at Christmas time. The first of which was just a few weeks ago for us, and I definitely bought 35 sets.
