the Inventor Posted June 10, 2009 Greetings, I was not entirly happy with the design of the original v-wing, because you had to fold him up in order to land. on the internet I found a picture of a landed v-wing, wich I used as reference. And here is my version you know how it goes , so I added also a better landing gear I changed the engines and I made the v-wing a little less flat. Some comparrison shots with the original And for who wants to know how I did it C&C are welcome Thanks for watching the Inventor
KimT Posted June 10, 2009 Wow this is a really great modification of the V-Wing. Thanks for showing us this
Eskallon Posted June 10, 2009 Lovely Mod I like it, I wish i had kept my version of this set instead of breaking it up and mixing up all the pieces.
Optimus Posted June 10, 2009 Impressive mod, it is so much better than the actual set. Great work!
The Nightwing Reborn Posted June 11, 2009 This is a great mod of the V-Wing I also hated the inaccurate design of the wings, and lego landing gear practically non-existent. I'd shell out a bit more cash for this much more authentic V-Wing.
Oky Posted June 11, 2009 This is a great mod of the V-Wing I also hated the inaccurate design of the wings, and lego landing gear practically non-existent. I'd shell out a bit more cash for this much more authentic V-Wing. I completely agree. This version is so much better. Great Job!

L-space Posted June 11, 2009 Great MOD. It doesn't look like you used a lot of extra pieces to create this. For me that makes it even better. Thanks for sharing.
mechamike Posted June 11, 2009 (edited) Really nice mod, With a few extra parts You have made the ship so much better. Excellent! Thanks for shareing! Edited June 11, 2009 by a53021
Future74 Posted June 11, 2009 (edited) Nice work on the MOD I noticed the difference between the set and the movie too. A lot of details added! Landing gear, flip wings, bended sides, different gun position. So thanks, I will definitly put this to good use on my V-wing. legopiotre Posted June 11, 2009 A very good MOD using only a few more pieces. I like how you made this model less bulky with the front that is no more flat and the round pieces against straight ones. Adidng a landing gear is a great idea and you made this one very well! good job, keep on showing us these great buildings
-JD- Posted June 11, 2009 This version sure does look much more 'cooler' than the TLC version. Great job! Mind if I use this design in my new animated series? Greetings, JD
the Inventor Posted June 11, 2009 This version sure does look much more 'cooler' than the TLC version. Great job! Mind if I use this design in my new animated series? No, go ahead (as long as you give me credit ) the Inventor
Takanuva-nui Posted June 12, 2009 Very nice MOD indeed! Ever since I bought a V-Wing I've been ticked that the wings folded different than the movie form, and this looks like a highly appealing alternative T-Nui
Loganwan Posted June 12, 2009 Ooh, niiiice! I have always had a problem with this set having such massively fat wings. I never did like that the wings folded the wrong way, and your fix is really nice. Now if only someone could get the true scissor action that is true to form for this ship, we would really be in business. I might be having to pull my V-Wing off the shelf and try your fix. Thanks for sharing.
RileyC Posted June 12, 2009 wow great mod! It actually looks like a v wing now. Great work!

Big Cam Posted October 7, 2009 I'm bumping this old topic to say what a wonderful job you did. You posted an example of this in my review so it got me curious. I actually think I am liking your wings better than the original. Your's isn't as busy as the regular one. The landing gear was a nice touch as well. Keep up the good work
def Posted October 7, 2009 This is quite nice. Your design just makes more sense than the original. Great!
Guards Posted October 8, 2009 Wow, these modifications are really great. I have built my V-Wing Fighter meanwhile almost just, only I have changed the rotary function of the wings, with me only the wings themselves move and not the whole unterscaffolding. Also the remaining changes come along very well in this Fighter. Hope we see even more of you. GG
JS_F Posted June 2, 2018 Looks really cool! Could you provide an instruction for this?
