Which Comic Do You Read?

Well as much as I despise the new 52, mostly for what they did to Batman. ( A monster "One face"!? Really!?) Im about to start Justice League Origins new 52. Thoughts?

I really liked, Justice League Origins, it's a nice and refreshing. All the characters got represented nicely and dynamic of the team is great.

Too be honest, Justice League: Origins is basically one big action scene. However, it is very enjoyable and is a good introduction to the various members of the Justice League.

Also, have you been reading Scott Snyder's Batman series or Batman: Dark Knight? Because Scott Snyder's Batman series is A LOT better than Batman: Dark Knight.

Hopefully this belongs here. I was watching Unbreakable last night with Bruce Willis and Samuel Jackson and was wondering if there was a comic related to the two characters in the movie?

Ah, no. But I did just finish reading Under the Red Hood, vol 2 I think? That's where most of the action is anyway! I've thumbed through the Dark Knight returns to see if it was something I should read and I don't really indurstand any of it! It didnt really like the art style either. Thoughts?!

So yesterday I picked up all 3 Harley Quinn issues from the New 52, and gotta say I really like them. They are very well written, the art is almost flawless, and the humor is abundant and genuine. If you look closely in issue Number 1, you can see a young man holding up a cardboard sign that reads "help me stay off my student loans" and its details like this that I look for and love in comics.

While I was there, I also flipped through She-Hulk Number 2 and must say the art is atrocious. And to think I was gonna pick that title up, I'll read it later to see if I like it. Also unsure of the exact release date of Ms. Marvel Number 2

I'm interested in the Harley Quinn series but I didn't like the breaking the 4th wall stuff in issue #0. Is the rest of the series like that?

Just got all the Asterix Comics in one pack. Always loved to watch the movies as kid and now I found a great offer to get 34 of the 35 comics for a good price.

Another brilliant comics are "The Dark Tower" comics. As fan of the whole Stephen King story I really like the version of comics they did until now.

I haven't read Harley Quinn #0, but as far as breaking the 4th wall goes, it didn't do any of that. It was like a regular comic, is all I can say, then again I'm horrible at verbalizing. I do recommend you pick it up, though.

Also wondering if anyone has been reading the Green Lantern series, since Sinestro is getting his own title in April, I want to know if he got any real development in Green Lantern so I can know whether ornot I should pick that title up. I know the entire first arc was about Sinestro, but just curious if anything happened there that would be essential to a new book that I should start to know about.

I've never actually seen the Asterix movies, but I've enjoyed the comics since childhood. Are the movies any good?

My current pull list doesn't have any DC titles, as I hate the New 52 (not that I didn't give it a fair shake).

Despite this fact, I am still a bigger DC fan than Marvel, all buying habits to the contrary.

If this is so, then I again recommend the Harley Quinn series. It doesn't seem to be affected by Forever Evil, and has a great blend of humor and action. Unless of course you feel the need to read Suicide Squad as well, then this could easily be your only DC title.

I dropped DC until they can sort out certain things. I was reading several books that I enjoyed, but could no longer support what I liked when there was so much I didn't.

Eventually, they will put their house in order and I will start reading again.

I still watch the shows and movies, and buy the merch, but I cannot abide an editorial staff where one hand doesn't know what the other one's doing.

I just finished act 3 of war games. Wow, quite the story arc, Black mask was a little on the disturbing side throughout the whole story. It was cool batman stuck to his guns (!) no matter what, even if it did cost him the trust of the city. I would recommend it if you can find all three acts like I did.

Stephanie was horribly mistreated in the end of the story. I am tired of seeing female characters die as a way to advance male characters.

It was a good arc marred by a torture porn ending.

I read The Flash Voume 1 and 2 (New 52 series). The art is fantastic and the characters are enjoyable (especially the Rouges). My only complaint is that Vol 1 felt a bit slow, which is ironic considering the Flash is the fastest man alive

I also read Superior Spiderman Vol 1 and 2. It's really cool to see Doc Ock as the Spiderman and see how the villains act towards this more serious Spidey.

I wanted to start reading Superior Spiderman in regular issues and not trades, but my local shop is currently selling issue number 1 for $25. This is the same reason I haven't been able to catch up on Justice League, or any other series for that matter. On the bright side, they seeem to have all of the New 52 Animal Man issues without a serious mark-up. Thank the lord I'm not a huge Batman fan, since issue Number 1 is selling for $50+.

If you want to get regular issues for a good price, you should try looking for a good deal on Ebay. I managed to get issues 0-18 of Aquaman (New 52) for only $30!

Ms Marvel #2 is out and it's just as good as the first one! It's up in the Top 5 titles I'm currently reading!

As a kid I really loved them and they are made very well. But that's always ones own opinion.

Does anyone know if Nightwing's New 52 series is worth reading? I like the character but I'm not sure if the series is good...

It's not amazing or anything like that but it's definitely a fun read. Kyle Higgins is a huge fan of Batman Beyond so you can see that he's taken some elements from the series and put it into his Nightwing.
