Future74 Posted March 23, 2009 Here's another MOC. This is a droid that hasn't appeared in neither the movies nor the series. As Wookieepedia behind the scenes states: "The Scorpenek annihilator droid appears to be based on a piece of concept art for Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. It also resembles concept art of what would become the droideka. "Scorpenek" sounds like Scorponok, an evil robot in the Transformers series." Here's a picture and link to Wookieepedia. I just came across it and decided to give it a try. Here's the result: Front Side Back Hope you'll like it.
the lord of the brick Posted March 23, 2009 That's a very unusual droid ... But the MOC is pretty nice. It's very original.
baby Posted March 23, 2009 I don't remember seeing this droid in episode two. But your MOC quite accurate. Perhaps you might want to try replacing the palm with the giant troll horn. Nice work!
Holy Diver Posted March 24, 2009 Nice, but its supposed to be much larger. Vehicle size to be exact. But it is still a good representation of one of the Galaxie's lesser known war droids.
Future74 Posted March 26, 2009 Thanks. I don't remember seeing this droid in episode two. It wasnt, it was concept art. Follow the link to Wookieepedia if you want to to read more about it. Nice, but its supposed to be much larger. Vehicle size to be exact. But it is still a good representation of one of the Galaxie's lesser known war droids. Yep, you're right. The actual size is supposed to be much larger, as it says on Wookieepedia, but I just have a few spare bricks

Ras 74 Posted January 2, 2010 Great design Future! Not an easyMoc to build in the scale you choosed to do it in. But I think you made it very good. Not a droid I was familiar at all with before, but thanks for sharing it. Learn something new every day!
KimT Posted January 2, 2010 Not a droid I was familiar at all with before, but thanks for sharing it. Learn something new every day! Wow, it took you since March 2009 to learn this?
lightningtiger Posted January 2, 2010 When I view the second season trailier for CW on CN, this droid appeared on table out of no where - I think Obi Wan slices and dices it - so it must be comming later on. Saying that I will comment - COOL - Love what you have done ! Great work 'Future74' !
Big Cam Posted January 13, 2010 I think this is very accurate tot he image he based it off of. It looks like the legs are quite movable too. Great job!
