Mister Phes Posted October 22, 2005 We can't have Randall Flagg! That would be like another licencing venture because someone is going to have copyright on that name.
Dreamweb Posted October 23, 2005 Does that mean that when I want to make a minifig representing some famous actor/musician/whoever I must ask his permission?
Mister Phes Posted October 23, 2005 Yes! Yes you must! Maybe I missed the point of naming him. I thought the idea was to come up with something original rather than borrow from existing fiction. I dunno... One thing I have noticed is all SYSTEM Pirate mini-figures only have one name preceeding their title. Its a silly 4+ phenomenon to give them fore and surnames! Norro Posted October 24, 2005 he needs a mutinous name... God Bless, Nathan (still with no suggestiion of my own)
Mister Phes Posted October 25, 2005 Like Max the Mutinous? Any captain would just love to have a crew member that is liable to mutinity on them, and what better way to let the world know than have a mutinous name!
Dreamweb Posted October 25, 2005 He can always take the name after the mutiny, and before it he may have a fraudulent name like Trustworthy Tom.
Mister Phes Posted October 25, 2005 Yes, a name to lull them into a false sense of security! Excellent idea! Who would ever suspect that Trustworthy Tom would mutiny on the captain!
