The Daily Mail have a voucher today for a free Pyjama Emmett from Toys R Us. Also picked up the Star Wars TC-4 (free with £10 Star Wars Lego spend)

Nice to see the Daily Mail is useful for something....got up off my deathbed - man flu is a killer - and picked one of these up from my local TRU.

Noticed that my local ASDA are having a Build A Lego Minifigure (BALM?) event next Friday - I presume it's a nationwide.

I wonder if a 'Free Lego gift for everyone' means kids and their parents :devil_laugh:

Not impressed Scottish stores had it yesterday & I missed it!!

I think the free gift is the robot DJ - http://your.asda.com/news-and-blogs/create-your-own-lego-minifigures-in-asda-stores-this-half-term?cmpid=ahc-_-soc-h2-_-asdacom-dsk-_-hp

Do you need a child to get your free DJ Robot?? Or do I need to "borrow" one for a few minutes?!!

"Kids will be able to take home a free Asda exclusive Robo DJ Lego Minfigure* too – and there’s Lego goodies to be won at every store."

I think it's supposed to just be the kids, I'm sure they won't mind though

Even less impressed, it's run by an external merchandiser who took everything with him when he went! Tried getting some on Monday with no luck!

Well, the nice man in one of the Asda stores was very understanding that my made up son couldn't make it as he was up in Scotland....so he gave me one of the minifigs....however, the not so nice lady at the other Asda store didn't buy my lie and said that they only had a few promos and were saving them for people who came in with their children. I turned on the charm...and unsurprisingly, that didn't work either  ! But at least I managed to pick up one!

I hope you feel good about hoarding a minifigure meant for children, meaning that there will be actual children missing out.

Very.co.uk has discounted all Lego by around 20%.

Remember to use QUIDCO to get cashback.

AND if you're a new user you can get between £20/£25 off starting a credit account.

Essentially buy Lego on credit, pay it off after the discount the next day.

SORTED.

Morrisons has a few sets cheap at the moment, so if you have a larger store with a toy section check it out. Some City, Chima and Castle sets are in the deal.

I just had a look at Very.co.uk - a few discounts on Lego but nothing very exciting and don't appear to be close to 20% off. Wasn't sure how the £20/£25 offer worked - didn't see anything on their website. They have a 10% off orders if you take out credit.

In addition to the SW Microfighters 'ASDA price' of £7, my Local ASDA had 75029 AAT at £3.50 & 75031 Tie Interceptor at £5. They also had two Chima Legend Beasts, Wolf & Gorilla at £3.50 each and Ninjago 70720 Hover Hunter at £4.50. I've no idea if these reductions are nationwide but my Local ASDA only stocks small sets so I'm planning a trip to one near work to see if there's anything more exciting on offer.

WHSmiths are offering £5 off a purchase of £15 with a voucher when you buy something - if you hang around the automated tills you can probably pick up a voucher on someone else's receipt. As they currently have the mixels in store at £2.99, you can buy 5 plus a packet of sweets and get them for £10 rather than £15 which is pretty good value for them.
