Adam Posted January 19, 2009 S-FA-Sc-3A Gambort tries his hand at ship-making with his lovely version of the French lugger Le Coureur: I think the hull is quite lovely. Flickr Brickshelf
Specever Posted January 19, 2009 Yes, the hull is quite lovely. It looks like it will float well.
Captain Blackmoor Posted January 21, 2009 I love your hull! The rigging isn't really my thing with the square sails, while the masts looks great. I've seen some pics of a Lugger and I noticed they also had tricorner sails. I would like the rigging more with tricorner sails but that's just my opinion. Your hull is doing the job!! Captain Zuloo Posted January 22, 2009 (edited) Very nice hull. Certainly frontpage quality, this MOC. Although I do agree with the others about the sails. But thanks for sharing! Edited January 22, 2009 by Captain Zuloo

Captain Green Hair Posted February 27, 2009 A very well build hull witha nice colorscheme, cool! I do think the masts are a bit short, but i don't know what he modelled it after..?
Captain Zuloo Posted February 27, 2009 From this image, does anyone see this MOCs sails as too square?

I believe Gambort wanted to represent the French lugger "Le Coureur", but admittedly, it looks nothing like it.
