Guss Posted October 27, 2008 hello, on the french forum "legopirate" , BossK posted his version of the AT-TE , a kind of UCS version, he was inspired by the Rgeiger AT-TE ( view here ) as I think his version is really nice, I'm going to show it to you : more pics : here. I think he did well, I really like his version ^^ enjoy !
Skipper 24 Posted October 27, 2008 Wow apart from a few bits of yellow that I could see poking through it is amazing. It is truly massive but I don't like the Republic insignia on the white dish it would look better in grey.
-JD- Posted October 27, 2008 Wow. Thats awesome! I wonder how many figs will fit in there? Lovely design.
Tim Bit Posted October 27, 2008 probably no figs will even go in it. Because it might be a bit to big.
KimT Posted October 27, 2008 Wow nice find. That's an amazing MOC. I wish he'd make instructions for that thing of beauty

MacK Posted October 29, 2008 Wow, that's an excellent MOC Bossk , it looks great, very accurate and detailed. I love it, especially the cockpit area, and legs . Still as nice as it is I think that you should try to get rid of the bits of yellow and red, that are located in the middle, and some plates on the sides wouldn't hurt either . Do you plan on creating another UCS model soon?
Bossk Posted October 29, 2008 I make in this moment a UCS AT-AP Walker, being same “family” (All Terrain) that the AT-TE, the legs and the feet should resemble each other, and the “head” should have about the same size as the AT-TE.
Bossk Posted November 23, 2008 the parts red, yellow,… were removed and replaced by black parts.: I modified the "foot" :
KyoKyo Posted November 23, 2008 impressive! most impressive! how many pieces did you use? That thing is ENORMOUS
Bossk Posted November 23, 2008 (edited) I do not know exactly but I've placed an order of more than 900 parts on BL for make the outside and I used my personnal parts, so I think I used over than 1000 parts It measures approximately 55 centimetres (the new LEGO's one mesures 39cm ) Edited November 23, 2008 by Bossk
Bricklanta Posted November 24, 2008 Wow it's huge, can clones fit in it?
pr0visorak Posted November 24, 2008 Bossk, Can you show us more pictures of the interior please and like a minifig size and space comparison? It would be great to see more details of this beauty
Bossk Posted November 24, 2008 Comparrison with a minifig : The interior isn't finished . I will remake the corridor with about..30 arch 8x8 for make a "tube" like that : I will change the seats too . Yes, you can put some minifigs, but it's an UCS, not really a minifig scale . More pics here

KinGanon Posted November 25, 2008 Wow! That thing is absolutley amazing!!! Nice job and the interior is astounding(better than UCSMF cough cough) Wow 1,000 parts that would make an awesome $100-$150 UCS set!
