Numbuh23 Posted September 2, 2008 I'm getting a little hyped about the new Max Payne movie, so I whipped up a couple of Minifigs for it. Movie accurate Minifigs, that are 100% LEGO, except the Brickarms they use as weapons. Note that these are my first custom minifigs, and feedback is appreciated. Max Payne with the Brickarms Auto-9 Mona Sax with the Brickarms M4 Carbine, with a monopod attached to it.

Skinny Boy Posted September 2, 2008 Nice figs. Did you edit the leather jacket to remove 'Mutt'? If you did, could you tell us how. It looks very well done.
L'Exocet Posted September 2, 2008 Very nice Minifiguraziation indeed! I don't now anything about the movie, but I played the game Are there more to come? goes kinda off-topic, but I loved the games (originating from Finland), both 1 and 2 - The Fall of Max Payne. Plot of the movie seems stupid with supernatural elements though (not REALLY present in the fabilous plot lines games). The word is there will be no more Max Payne games, that's too bad. I removed the "Mutt" from the jacket manualy, but I'll give you a hint of how I did it: "Sharpie" Hope that didn't give too much away, I might pull together some more Minifigs, maybe a MOC if I'm that bored, so stay tuned to this thread. Fatespuppet Posted September 3, 2008 Simple yet effective. Definitely two nice custom figs. I think the movie will be tanking horribly, much to my dismay, but that's what happens when games try to be movies.

Fatespuppet Posted September 4, 2008 Not really, a film of a gane can be good if done properly.Nice figs, . Well I guess it's possible, but it hasn't happened yet IMHO.(RE, Doom, Double Dragon, Super Mario Bros, St Fighter, Wing Commander, etc.) ;) Back to the topic though. You said you used a Sharpie, did it blend well or is it really noticeable?
