[Figbarf] Jungle Warriors

[The Reader]

When I saw Mrs. Flume's medium lavender legs with apron (from set 76388 Hogsmeade Village Visit) I wanted to test if they are useful for some kind of jungle warriors. I bought matching torsos and heads on BL and violà - here are my jungle warriors:

These are brilliant! Usage of these legs is extremely clever.

It is always hard to create some variety between minfigs in such a specific setting and with limited parts, but you managed to create a fabulous group of jungle warriors! Very nice

These are really cool! Do you mind if I ask where you got the torsos and heads from? I don't recognise them.

Also, do you have any plans on where you want to use them? They seem like evil spirits as a counterpart to "good" jungle dwellers.

Nice work creating these warriors from a HP set. They look good and you can't tell the original source without really having to know the material.

The dark brown shields are attached with a 1x1 round plate to the minifigs' hands.

Good question. Yes, I want to build a MOC for them but I have no plans/ideas yet.

That's some clever re-utilising of some of those parts. Rather insipiring actually, I'll have to think of this next time I feel like doing a figbarf!

Thank you very much. Actually it took me about two years to develop the idea, collect the parts and achieve the (IMHO) best result. It was a long, but very interesting way.

BTW, I found a mistake in my above list - the 2nd minifig from letf has this head: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3626cpb2816&C=157#T=S&C=157&O={"color":157,"iconly":0} (it's a very similar face)
