KolonialbeamterdeMartinez 5 posts Posted July 21 (edited) I recently viewed the "Asha in the City of Rosas" set, which inspired me to create a version for our pirate-themed world! What are your thoughts? Edited July 25 by KolonialbeamterdeMartinez
Murdoch17 4271 posts Posted July 21 It looks interesting from what I can see of it, but you really need to host photos elsewhere, as Eurobricks isn't meant to host them. Post pics at Flickr, or Bricksafe (or other photo hosting sites), then you can then deeplink them into your post here on Eurobricks. I can't wait to see it fully once you post more photos @KolonialbeamterdeMartinez!

I'll try to change it later. I'll also upload more pictures from Bricksafe. Please be patient! Edited July 21 by KolonialbeamterdeMartinez

Sorry but I gave it a try! Edited July 23 by KolonialbeamterdeMartinez

Sorry but I gave it a try! I'm out! Paging @Mister Phes.... can you help him out please? I'm unsure how to proceed, so I figured involving a mod would be wise. Captain Braunsfeld 6871 posts Posted July 23 A fine creation and I would like to have that white staircase piece. Congratulations!
Murdoch17 4271 posts Posted July 23 Congrats on making the front page @KolonialbeamterdeMartinez! 'Tis a fine modification you've made of that set!
Israel Hands 74 posts Posted July 23 A nice little set. I like it. I'd be tempted to pick it up if I saw it in a shop.
LEGO Train 12 Volts 9425 posts Posted July 23 Beautiful MOC, as small as it is rich in interesting ideas and details!
zinnn 500 posts Posted July 23 I saw this build on Instagram the other day and fell in love with it straight away. Huge classics vibes but with a modern twist. Brilliant!
Capt Wolf 5466 posts Posted July 24 Great adaptation of the set to the Pirates theme. That could easily be an official Pirates set. And as others have noted, you did a great job filling it out with little details. I especially like the crab. Well done!
zinnn 500 posts Posted July 24 @KolonialbeamterdeMartinez would it be possible for you to share the Studio file for this build?
Jack Sassy 1362 posts Posted July 24 Aye, looks lovely! I did imagine what potential those sets could hold for 18th century colonial towns. Ye demonstrated clearly that such attempt is a success. Good job!
DrStraightface 1 post Posted July 24 Great little diorama set made even greater by pirates ... arghh
Horation 643 posts Posted July 25 This is a fine build of it's own, the fact that you made while trying to emulate an actual set from a different theme is all the more impressive! I generally dislike that roof technique, but it is rather appropriate here, gut gemacht!
YellowFrog 190 posts Posted August 4 Great build, you've really captured the Lego aesthetic. Two points of critique: the roof looks a little bare, perhaps 1x2 dark red tiles would have worked better; and the staircase element in the back looks a little strange for an old stone fort. Once again, great build!
