I still don’t understand why we can’t get magazines here in the states. I assume they’d be very popular. At least Pick a Brick has been more reliable lately. For anyone in Europe, any tips on where to find good stashes of recent magazine issues? I may be in Germany later this year.  

The magazines are basically anywhere where there is a section to buy press, at least most of the time, that could depend on the size of a store. Like a medium size convenience store might have them, but the selection there could be limited. The best option are big super markets or malls that inside could have a seperate store with press, there you should have most of the different magazines, including multi packs and comics with previous magazine gifts.

Airports also can have a good selection of magazines.

But I've never been to Germany, so I'm not entirely sure if it's the same there, but I expect that it would be like that.

This description doesn't really give us that much, but that could also mean that we might get the descriptions for the other sets soon.

from what we got the set sounds quite fun. Now it could only depend on the quality of the builds, since the detached jets might look incomplete or the main one could look quite weird. But let's just hope for the best. Now I'm not really sure on how their colors could mix, but since Ras doesn't  really have a consitant theme to him, so he could also have the other character's main color.

While we don't know what minifigures are included, I've got my own predictions: Ras, --- , Sora, Cole, generic villain. Cole is there because of the fact that Ras's main weapon is a hammer as well.

News Stand in the UK will ship the English-language versions anywhere in the world. A 12-issue subscription sent to the U.S. is about $140.

I’ve done this before to test it out, and it is nice for the very rare minifigs. But the cost for most of them isn’t worth it, especially to army-build. Thank you for the tip though!

I like that it seems they are committing to this plot point, at least if only for a single season. I feel like the temptation to resolve it at the beginning would be high, so I appreciate them sticking with it. 
That said, I am not sure what the exact dynamic will be, since we have multiple villain factions in play, and none of them like each other! I also have doubts about a Ras-Ninja alliance, though I can see maybe a begrudging team-up for at least the first half of S3. Maybe 

 

Arin vouches for Lord Ras to the other Ninja, since they have a common enemy in the Forbidden Five, but of course Ras betrays the Ninja once he gets what he wants. I can see something like this being what brings Arin back to the Ninja, once he sees that Ras views everyone as disposable tools to further his/his master’s plans.

I am curious about where Jay fits into all of this, since the storm theme works with him, but he seemed to be out on his own by the end of S2. 🤔
Maybe Ras decides to pick him back up, since his plans failed spectacularly after he cut him loose! That could also give us a cool little 

 

Ninja civil war arc, with Arin and Jay on Ras’s side.

I can also see him picking up Zeatrix (since she has a grudge against the Ninja), as well as potentially Dr. LaRow (who just disappeared in S1), since he is out a scientist now!

Is it likely for Ninjago to hae D2C? We have Dock, Garden, and Market Street sets - it’s 2-year patten; Market Street came out in 2023.

I would say it's very likely for a Ninjago City modular, really im just waiting on the confirmation. It's also could be possible it gets pushed back a year considering 2026 is the 15th anniversary of ninjago, and also we had a D2C this year though.

I’m little curious - I was looking at the first post here and I noticed that it mentioend “Zane’s Ultra Combo Mech”.  It sounds like it’s only Zane’s mech but it said “combo”?

We don’t know what the combo mech will entail yet. Some here have suggested maybe multiple Zane vehicles that combine into one, or a Zane mech with swappable limbs and accessories. I think it’s also possible that there are other pilots but the aesthetic is overall Zane’s. Shouldn’t be too long before we get some descriptions and/or pictures and see for ourselves!

Could also be the return of Pixal. And Zane and her have vehicles that combine into a mech.

Yeah I think there were ultra combo mech sets wiht 5 ninja chargers in the past, right? Now this new one is quite curious - it’s only Zane’s combo mech instead of team’s vehicles.

First set descriptions are starting to appear, I won’t write them all out as they are unconfirmed (coming from Instagram, spinjitzu brick I think is the account)

interesting things to note - Nokt and Rox will be in sets, as will Frakt.

Krulth, Zyrrk and Zarkt are I presume the other forbidden 5 names, also in sets.
Most of the sets revolve around a glider and launchpad gimmick which explains the high price/low part counts of most, although I have to say the figure numbers seem to be generous. The number of names doesn’t correspond with the number of figures apparently coming in the set in the same picture which makes me sceptical. 🫤

Further update - looks like the source is a new account, Crash_legoleaks. No prior reputation so this will be the decider I guess. They also have information regarding the new D2C, Ninjago city apartments, which the name has been floating around the community for some time now. Includes 27(?!?) figures, 6832 pcs and $370. 
If this is real, holy cow. They are really pushing it with a nearly 400 dollar Ninjago set. Just how big can they go? I figured markets would be the largest for some time but no, they just keep going up.

The next magazine issue includes a wolf mask general.

With that there most likely won't be more part 1 minifigures (but since before we had the wolf warrior and then more s1 minifigures, so there is still a very small chance for that)

I expected that they would include this minifigure in a magazine. The regular version would have been so much better, but I didn't expect that, because of these large parts on the back.

It's also really nice to get the blood moon sword piece, since the cheapest regular set that this comes in is $50.

Fateful lego on insta just posted the first real rumour, Zanes mech. Splits off into a mech, Pixels car, Soras jet, and riyu? I really hope this means Riyu os part of the full mech, ive been dying for ninjago to tackle a combo dragon mech type build for ages. I managed to build one that looks fairly convincing, with the wings wrapping around the mech shoulders much like the armour on Lloyd and Aries team mech. Super hyped to see how its officially tackled.

At first I wasn't really into getting another large zane mech, but the description makes it sound really fun. 

The characters featured on it are perfect, since they all use white, and Sora and Pixal both share the dark blue color.

The most interesting part is how Riyu fits in all that. But I guess we will see about that when the time comes, since I expect that a bit later we are going to get more detailed descriptions.

I'm not that into Pixal coming back this early, I wanted for the previous side characters to wait a few more season, to give more spotlight to the new ones. But also that might not even be Pixal, since this is just based on some priliminary pictures, and Ras did get mistaken for Garmadon before. Or she could be just not cannon the same way that Wu was in the Bounty and Dragonstone shrine.

Now it is said that the set has 6 minifigures, Since the other charcters are not named, I expect them to be all villains, with 2 generic ones and the main villain. But there could always be more, or less. As I remember what happend with the descriptions for the march wave.

What timely discussion we were just having about the combo mech! I also wouldn’t have been interested if it was just a Zane mech, but I really like the combination of characters they’ve put together. I’ll wait and see what it looks like, but I could definitely see myself wanting this. I wonder if Riyu will be very similar to the set from this year or not? I imagine it’ll use the same specialized head part,
