Someone wears a new pointy hat, but can't see who at the moment, could be Arthur.

It does seem like the same hat that Arthur wears when he arrives at the burrow in Chamber of Secrets, so I think you're right on that one.

And gosh, everytime I think: "hmm I might not be interested in this set based on the leaked description", they go ahead and make it look so damn beautiful.

If I watch closely, the outfits are from chamber of secrets when they arrive at the burrow. Those outfits could have been in the ford anglia earlier this year, so I'm happy they appear in this set.

Good spot on the hat! I was a little worried because I only counted 8 redheads, but now that you’ve pointed it out that’s definitely Arthur in his hat from CoS instead of an ambiguous pig sty related structure like I initially thought. Cool that we’re getting a new hat.

And while there’s definitely so reference to CoS in the outfits I don’t think it’s completely based on those scenes. For one, Harry and Ron are right at the front, and even with the blurry image they seem to have at least mid legs instead of short ones. There’s also rather notably a redhead in mostly black on the far left – I’m certain that’s Percy in his Ministry suit from the later movies.

If even a blurry photo of the Burrow looks marvelous, I have high hopes for the official reveal. This was already a definite purchase; it looks good enough that I may bother going day one to get the GWP too.

From what I can see, Harry, Ron, Fred, George, Ginny and Arthur should be CoS based, if I pointed them out right. Harry and Ron center bottom, Ginny above Harry, Fred and George with the pink pig on the right. Arthur a bit left of them.

I think your right about Percy who should be on the left of the image. Molly next to him (?), Bill in the dooropening and Charlie on the balcony I think.

Looks like it has a lot of space to show the life of their family. Since it's connected to the second movie - i think we won't see Ron and George experimenting with their future "wizard wheezes" stuff.

The other thing im curious about - will they include a tiny piece for a gnome (i see some  weird 1-piece stuff around their garden build and a minifigure kicking something!) (upd false alarm-it's not garden. I was confused by sand-green like colors)

Gnomes would likely be icing on the cakes of this set... who knows if there is a ghoul - stickered - in the attic.

In the blurry photo I can identify two pigs I think and what is I’m sure a new dark grey flying owl (an official Errol), it’s on the right side posed on the new Marvel heroes curved posing rod/bar.

The yellow thing in the hand of one of the figures on the left might be a rubber duck.

That could be it, although it would be odd because Arthur in his hat is to the right, but it wouldn’t be the first time that marketing didn’t care what accessory they had a character holding in promo photos.

I'm not seeing it as a hat personally (looks like a figure with a tall accessory like a broom to me), but I do see short legs on Harry, Ron and Ginny.

I can't wait to see more.

It looks good, but so was the other two sets, how many burrows do I need*huh* I will wait for better pictures before I decide :shrug_oh_well:

2 pigs and an owl, I am hoping for piglets in the set :sceptic:

All in all a very good year for owls, with 4? new prints:sweet:

Kind of hoping the Burrow has some nice new pieces and isn't a total repeat of the one we got a few years back. I know there's only so much you can do with the design of it since that's the shape of the house, but a little side shed or some gnomes, or a ghoul would have been nice. The Burrow is my favourite HP location so although I've given up on the countless castle sets, this one could draw me in still. The prospect of new minifigs for Arthur, Percy, Bill & Charlie is really exciting though. It may be finally time to retire my custom Bill and Charlie's

At first I thought that was Arthur with a Rubber Duck as well, but the pointed hat makes more sense. Maybe they can eventually recolour it for Percy. Maybe the one with the "Rubber Duck" is Charlie instead with a dragon?

Either way, can't wait to see some better images. Apparently it's a poster that would be given away in a lego store at a certain mall this week, but the store knew nothing of it, so someone probably messed up the date and revealed it too soon.

Interesting. If the poster was meant to be given away this week, then the official reveal should be today or tomorrow I would think. Hopefully see some better images soon.

Well according to the source of the image it's a promotion in Chili, 100 posters per location to be distributed from 31-07-2024 to 04-08-2024. But I assume they got the date wrong by like a month or something, as when people actually went to the stores there yesterday, the employees had no idea what they were talking about. So someone probably messed up.

Ah yes end of August to early September would make more sense as the set should have been revealed by then, not the poster revealing the product. Oh well, there can't be that long to go before the official reveal.

The Burrow is a promising set. Not sure if I'll buy it, in the end, unfortunately space is something to keep in consideration (also money, but I can save enough to buy the set, not to enlarge my home :snicker:).

Surely I hope the GWP, if it will a good one, being avaible not only by purchasing The Burrow. For this reason I've not buy Durmstrang Ship, Aragog and Ford Anglia yet.

I'll never be able to display every set I own and that is a good thing. I can rotate through my collection annually and so I am constantly building, but not buying.

I'd imagine the facade will look somewhat similar to 75980 from 2020, but the small details will be more accurate to the movie, and the interior will be far more fleshed out. It's about 2.5 times the piece count of the previous version. I'm interested to see where the extra 1,500 pieces have gone into the model.

I've sort of transitioned to this as well. I'm taking apart sets and storing them, making room for some new ones. It preserves the LEGO a little better, but also makes me forget how I have too much LEGO lol.

Ohhh, come on Lego, make my day and officially reveal the Burrow today. The Burrow looks decent on the photo, I prefer having smaller objects to be a D2C, so they can be very detailed and in minifigure scale. Also, it gives a lot of possibilities for having much more locations. Would love to see Grimmuald Place with whole order of Phoenix as a D2C.

There have been sets that have been officially revealed quite short before their release lately, that beeing said, I would guess we will have the reveal either next week, or even just the one after - as they would likely promote their Back to Hogwarts event in Advance I wouldn´t think it would be any later than that.

A whole bunch of people turned up to lego stores in Chile expecting those promo posters with the Burrow on them after their local social media page posted the promo weeks too early. So at this point it would make sense for Lego to do the official reveal next week or the week after to give people time to get hyped about it going into whatever back to Hogwarts events they’re doing, as opposed to dropping it at the last minute for shock factor.

According to thebrickreporter on instagram, there will be a Weasley clock collectable coming alongside the Burrow. I'm really confused about that info, not sure what to make of it. Maybe some kind of non-lego promotion? Like what they've done for Star Wars a few times in the past.

So - a clock AND the floo network, and both for a EUR 260 set (which is mid-size by LEGO standards. Dreamzzz had a EUR 200 playset!). That's really odd.

I would guess for something similar to the may the fourth Medal, with the movable X-Wing, just with movable hands instead. A brickbuilt version would be kinda cooler of course, but I don´t see how they would do the hands there since it would add to much if they would do it with Lego pieces - I doubt they would make a special family mould like for the Rivendell Weapons for a GWP so a foil would probably be the only way to go with it then.

My thoughts exactly, something brickbuild would just be impossible to do well as a gwp. Wouldn't mind something like the medal, not too big of a deal if you miss out on it, but still pretty cool if you get your hands on it, especially now that all the Weasley kids can be represented in minifigure form.
