Do you guys think that the next D2C could possibly be Asgard? I think we got most of the major buildings out of the way (Daily Bugle, Sanctum, X Mansion, Avengers Tower) The only other option that is missing to me for obvious potential buildings is the Baxter building

I think the next D2C going off-world would have a high possibility, Asgard especially sounds like a strong option, it would be really nice to display this year's Surtur there.

On a sidenote, and this question has probably been asked before, so I'm sorry for asking again, but is it still possible for there to be a GWP for the Mansion? Or would we have known about that by now?

Edit: I forgot about Oscorp

I think both Asgard and Oscorp will be made eventually, I just don't expect either of them to happen next year.

I just want more thor sets in general, because I REFUSE to buy the Love and Thunder sets 😂

I drool just thinking about what this hypothetical Asgard set could be. I imagine a brick built destroyer, rainbow bridge, tall gold towering landscapes....ugh I gave a mighty need

I know this is unlikely, but I'd love an Asgard inspired straight from the comics, particularly the Jack Kirby run of Thor. With a minifigure lineup based on the 60s/70s comics as well so we could get non-movie characters like the Enchantress, Balder, and Karnilla, plus comic versions of Thor, Loki, Sif, etc.

The Asgard from the movies never felt as fantastical or inspired as the Asgard from the comics.

I honestly think it's Oscorp next year (unless we see Arkham instead), but I dunno about Asgard unless we get a really solid Thor 5. I just don't know that Asgard's enough to warrant a D2C, or more specifically, if Thor's enough. One of the big three of the MCU he may be, but he's always been #3 in that triumvirate. I think the only non-spidey hero who could handle a solo D2C is MCU Iron Man with the Malibu Mansion/armory.

I have wonderful news. My local walmart had the morbius set for $12. Which means not only am I now the proud owner of Lego Morbius (and a spare miles to sit in my spider-man pile until I get around to the spider-verse MOC, and a sick red windshield), but given it somehow made it to more than 50% off, this set- at least at my walmart- bombed, meaning not only did the movie bomb TWICE, but the only morbius-related lego set ALSO BOMBED.

For me I think it’ll be Baxter’s Building, after all the new fantastic 4 movie comes out next year and we’ve never seen the fantastic 4 in Lego form yet. Alternatively it could be a Helicarrier with a full scale interior inside.

However for me it really needs to be DC the next couple of years.  We need a big D2C Arkham Asylum, and then a Wayne Manor as well.

I really don’t understand why DC and Marvel can’t have one each year to be honest.

The X-Men will be wearing the Grant Morrison era costumes for season 2 so I’m hoping if we get sets it will be season 1 based.

Thor is enough.

Also did you forget about the Doctor Strange D2C ( or the black panther one... But yeah that didn't sell and was a minifig set.)

is it bad that I only got the new Surtur set because it was Thor themed, and not because I like Ragnarok? I actually don't like the last 2 thor movies 😅 the set is awesome though. I kinda just pretend surtur is a Destroyer

Yeahhh I saw this. Really not excited. Each character has worse individual looks, but I think the Morrison costumes might be the all time worst X-Men uniform.

It kinda strips them from their individuality imo, it doesn't really suit their personalities too well, only one I don't mind getting a Morrison variant for is Wolverine, just to get some variation. But hey, maybe the show manages to pull it off.

The one half-based on Infinity War with Iron Man and Spider Man, that was also the smallest modular?

Worse than the all-black super boring FOX-Men uniforms? No way :snicker:

Having just built all the sets from the August wave, I have to say this really is one of the best Marvel waves so far, despite the lack of new characters or significant variants  The biggest surprise to me is the AoU set. Looks way more awesome on display than I thought!

Some if it might depend on how large the Danger Room is and how much space it takes up. The Danger Room is also supposed to have a viewing deck which is where Xavier watches from behind a glass window but I don't remember if that was incorporated into the show or not.

If there's no Beast though, I wonder if they'll bother with the lab. And if there's no villain minifigure, holding cells might not be likely either.

Come to think of it, it could also go completely the other way - Lego could make the rooms that reference characters not included in this set. Example, Beast's lab, since he already was in the CMF.

I can see that; I am expecting a lot of stickered Easter eggs to appear (First Class picture, Xavier's will, namedrops, maybe the lineup board from the '97 S1 finale).

Avengers Tower does not have a working elevator - Just the doors on each floor.

Stickers. Oh yes, that's one way Lego can cheapen this set. I hope they keep it to a minimum!

We don’t have confirmation of the war room been included do we?

Personally I’m holding out for a set to go underneath with lab, war room, danger room and maybe some cells.

I think we’ll see 6/7 separate rooms.  Some will just be small that’s all.  Personally I’m hoping for a classroom, Xavier’s office, 1/2 dorm rooms (one named and one generic), storms attic which could fit right at the top in the middle of the set, almost as a third floor because from the prelims it looks like there is space there.

I just hope we don’t get wasted space with a staircase for example.

With many MOCers on RB, I would really like for Lego or an independent MOCer to come up with a basement to go with this set!!!

Asgard!!! Long overdue!!! I really want a comic version, with comic-based characters!!! Heimdall!!! Odin!!! Freya!!!

Lady Deathstrike and Sabretooth are also supposed to appear in S2 of X-Men '97 so here's hoping we'll get minifigs for them eventually. They could easily be included in Wolverine sets.

I'm not a fan of the black leather look either. Thankfully it's only Scott and Jean confirmed to be wearing those costumes so far. Since they're stuck in the future, I wonder if only the future X-Men wear these costumes. There was apparently footage of the X-Men stuck in the past (ex. Nightcrawler) and they're not wearing those costumes.

I actually have an exclusive June 2025 wave leak-

Wolverine Mech ($14.99): Wolverine and Magneto ('97 design with the M)

Wolverine's jet ($37.99): Yellow-and-blue jet with Wolverine and Magento (classic comic design)

Wolvmobile ($59.99): Sleek yellow-and-brown car with Wolverine (brown and yellow suit), Magneto (classic comics), and Lady Deathstrike (uses the wolverine claws)

Wolverine's Cowl ($69.99)

UCS Wolverine Bust ($349.99): Wolverine's head and two arms with claws extended

(My source says the designers accidentally mixed their marvel and DC plans)

Good to hear. I'm tempted to get just the build for that set off ebay if I see it going cheap. As the figs are repeats.

No Wolverized Venomarine?! It’s like Lego doesn’t even care about their fans anymore. 😔

You're missing the Buildable Wolverine in his brown and yellow suit plus Professor X's Mech which includes 2 wheels instead of legs.

At least the Fox costumes are individualised in SOME way - the coloured piping changes for each member, and there are quirks of each suit that echo some of the classic designs (Storm's cape, Wolverine's stripes on his sides) - imo when the lighting is such that you can see the piping, they're actually really solid costumes

The Morrison suits are just totally devoid of any individuality at all (besides Emma, who has her own thing going on for some reason)

I don't know how reliable Unibricks is, but they are saying that the buildable Marvel logo will feature the undamaged Mark 6, a new Thor, and a new Bruce Banner.

No, because that'd be the greatest marvel set of all time.

Sorry- he's included in the retail exclusive:

Venomized Wolverine ($89.99): Buildible wolverine figure with venom taking over half of it. The price is so high due to it including a whopping 2 figures- Venomized Wolverine, and Wolverized Venomarine.

If Hawkeye is present, this immediately becomes a much better fig lineup. I still think making it MCU specific is a bad move (unless it's the Marvel Studios logo), but the film lineup original avengers makes much more sense than the weird hodgepodge we had previously rumored (though Banner should be Hulk, even if it has to be a minifigure IMO, and of course it's gonna be weird if everyone but hawkeye is there)

I second hoping for season 2 sets, but only because I want Polaris

If true I wonder what the Thor figure is based on. The only missing suits from revisited Legacy sets are Ragnarok gladiator and Infinity War

It would honestly just be nice to get an improved head piece for him though, before the Endgame head appears in as many sets as the Tony Stark with HUD head

The funny thing is I can see most of these getting made at some point.

With the Wolverine video game from Insomniac coming soon, I wonder if we could expect any tie-in sets, although Spider-Man never got any tie-in sets. Just the exclusive minifigure. Lady Deathstrike, Sabretooth, Mystique, Omega Red, and Mr. Sinister are the main villains in that with protagonists Wolverine and Jean Grey, so it would be nice to see some comic or show sets featuring those characters that could technically cross-promote the video game as well.
