SpinX125 Posted November 10 Here comes a bit from life in "Great West City", a city with lots of opportunities, but things can quickly go wrong if you hang out with the wrong types. The Train station is the lifeblood of the city, but if you are going on a long journey, you can also take the stagecoach out of the city, there are plenty of activities here, poker games, shooting duels, or a trip on horseback, you can also visit the local Barber, you can stay at the city Hotel for an overnight, along with a bath, and the Saloon offers a drink. The ”long arm of the law” keeps the city's criminals on a tight leash, with a little help from the Cowboy who is "faster than his own shadow". Should you come across money, you can safely place it in the city's bank, where it will be closely watched. Some believe the town's cemetery is haunted, and others have seen a UFO stealing the farmer's sheep, but don't believe those stories. If there is an accident, the town's Church and Undertaker are, of course, always open for "business" After my Pirate build “Bay of Lost Treasures” (which was finished in 2021) I have been working on this Western layout, there have been long building breaks along the way, but it was finally ready. Yperio_Bricks Posted November 10 Fantastic layout, There are many great details and fun easter eggs My favorites are Dr King Schultz and Django as well as the undertaker. For quite some time now i am thinking about how to build a coffin. Are the coffins Lego pieces?

El Garfio Posted November 10 Wonderful city full of great details
Alexandrina Posted November 11 A beautiful build. I'm sure most of the references are going straight over my head (though I caught the Back to the Future one; the third film was always my favourite) but that doesn't matter because the city itself is simply delightful to look at. Very thriving. Plenty of stuff going on. What are the torso/skirt pieces you used for the woman in red outside the church? I don't recognise them.

That's from Elizabeth Swann Turner from 2011's Pirates of the Caribbean theme, if I'm not mistaken. Quite an expensive fig in (potentially brittle) dark red! SpinX125 Posted November 11 Thanks for the feedback Correct, the torso is from POC002 Elizabeth Swann The torso has a small crack, but can fine be used in the layout
Sir E Fullner Posted November 12 Did I spy a Lucky Luke reference in the build?
