Recommended Posts

As I begin work on an reimagined “imperial flagship”, iv remodelled a little of the admirals cabin furniture.

 Hope you all like!

Every admiral will be pround to have this fine furniture in his cabin! I really like the idea with the ink jar. Have you tested it with a black stud added to the bottom? Also a nice organ with brickbuild keys.

Oh, and exquisite liquor is always needed for, ehm, official receptions of delegates and other noble figures :pir-huzzah1:

I love those glass bottles!

Thank you!

I had seen the small clear pyramids in an architecture build my wife was doing and luckily there was a spare or two!

You know I took these pictures just before I went to bed last night and was thinking a black stud in the ink well would look good, you read my mind.

I can’t take credit for the entire piano build; a lot of it is taken purely from the original but I did change it up a lot in the way it’s built; I’ll take some deconstructed pictures later if anyone would like to see the process. Very simple and very few pieces. I just wanted to make sure it had the gold; white; black; brown and dark blue colour scheme that I want to follow through the entire build.

Some more of the piano construction.

‘So admiral this is exactly like the cannon beds on the original flagship. But uh… where do we sleep?”

luckily the admiral had supplied blankets and pillows that fit nicely over the cannon racks.

The inkwell (learned a new word ) looks good. The admiral is a nice man, supplying such comfortable beds to his men :pir_laugh2:

With the appearant exquisite taste of the admiral, I kinda wonder what he feels appropriate for his cabin's 'bunk'.

“Does he really need THIS at sea?”

Good question :pir_laugh2: I guess it can be asked for a lot of the stuff high ranked officers and nobles carried with them back in the day :pir_laugh2:

That furniture is great. I especially like  that rum bottle made from crystal glass!

But wouldn't this single feather suit better as writing tool than that plume you used?

You were right, looks much better updated!

The doors from the admirals cabin have arrived before the walls have unfortunately.

No wonder, a miracle!
A miracle it will be to fit all of these in the cabin! :bonaparte:

I like your furniture! :pir-huzzah2:

Thank you very much!

I’ll endeavour to build more for pirates and islanders soon.

Islander furniture?
My curiosity is piqued.

I love how you’ve fit the galley from the Imperial Flagship in the stern of the POBB ship.

Yeah, I’m really hoping of making it, “it’s own ship” once I get past the super structure.
I love the hull design of pobb and see the design almost the same way I saw the large hull pieces of the old sets.

It’s sort of the “meta” in my mind.

Oh I agree entirely. The super structure of the POBB ship is definitely the perfect basis for ship MOCs, to which modifications can be made to it your own ship. I’ve got the inclination to design my own iteration of the  Carribean Clipper, or “Sea Hawk” as it was known with the Australian release, based on the POBB hull superstructure.
