Images of Dino's European version !!!

Recommended Posts

I didn't think TLC could have done a worse version of that crappy tank, and they did (possibly) !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go :D !!!! A tank without weapons, a stupid cage that cannot hold a Dino in any ways, yeahhhhhhhhhh I want 10 of those :D :P

Puch, that set looks horrible... its hard to believe that someone at TLC could have thought that looked good... |-/

It might just be a prototype since it's in the same folder as the Viking ship, but it's most likely the European version, since I can't see any weapons on it.

EDIT: It can't be a prototype since it's got a new number, so yes, this will be the European version.

Well, you can view these as a more modern version of the adventurers' sets.

Dinos always fascinate children, so lets hope these sell well for a bright TLC future.

Hey Gang,

Sorry if this is old news but this Mini Site just opened, and it says Europe'll get the dinos in October 2005.

I'm glad, I know you all hate them, but I like the minifigs and the Helicopter.

Its good because us Europeans know nothing of warfare or violence.

Guns are not our ways.

Actually I think it looks better with the big old cage.

Gonna have to buy both kinds though.

Bastards.

I like that it types megablocks when I say megablocks.

Thats cool. Saves me typing out megablocks the whole time.

Matt

P.S: Moderator guys the C word isn't covered by megablocks.

I don't think it looks that bad apart from teh cage. The car/tank with treads look good (I like them at an angle :) ), the dinosaur looks good and if the figs are anything like the ones Bloody Jay posted in that (excellent) review then I really don't think this set is as bad as you all make it out to be.

*shrugs*

What do I know *satis*

I think the Hummer looks better without the catapult, the steel sprinter looks much better with the chain, and the chopper looks almost as good (did they remove the back cockpit? *wacko*).

The tank, however, sucks.

The Urban Avenger is pretty much identical.

PS - front page'd. Kudos to Christian.

I like these more then the american versions, because they dont have thoes big oversized weapons. I only miss the big gatlingguns on each side of the big helicopter :'(

Well, this still means your sets will have less pieces, and a lot more pretty useless TECHNIC beams. Still, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a Steel Sprinter and a Fire Hammer from Europe...

Now that you mention it, the torso patterns do look different.

I HOPE NOT

They dont look different to me, but ofcourse the pictures are VERY small, so you really cant tell if it is the same figs or not.

I too hope that they dont change the figs.

Well !!!! Hurmmmmm...

For the small sets its cool to have chains and harpoons !!!!! However, for the bigger sets, why only cages ???? don't tell me TLC could not come with a better idea than those nasty looking cages !!!!! (like a kind of base camp and other cool stuff).

Oh well, I want a closer look to the figs to see if they are the same !!!

Tks Christian for the pics ;)

EDIT: I'll change the thread name ;)

I quite like them. They don't look too different, and the chains and cages are quite good. The only bad thing I can see is that the Helicopter is mising all of its guns, they were my favourite thing about the set.

It's interesting that they've changed the name to "DINO 2010" though.

Thanks for the images Christian :), they don't look too bad.

I like the looks of all the sets, especially the quad bike one! ;) But I'm still not too sure about "tank" with the cage. I would like to see more pics of the copter set, I want to know how different/similar it is to the "Dino Attack" one.

But "Dino 2010" ?? 5 years time, we better run before they invade!! :()

Jon.
