We've resurrected the Classic Pirates Mailing List!

So now you can get News and MOCs delivered straight to your inbox.

A Subscribe Form can be found here:
https://www.classic-pirates.com/subscribe

We also want YOUR feedback and suggestions for the type of exclusive Email content you'd like to receive.

We've already brainstormed a few ideas like:

  • FREE wallpapers for your phone, tablet and computer
  • FREE media like a remastered version of the Guide to the LEGO Pirate Minifigures series
  • FREE building instructions for MOC sets like The Warty Crab... or maybe something bigger!

But maybe there's something else you'd like to receive?

If so, tell us!

What would make YOU excited to OPEN your inbox? What exclusive goodies would make your mailing list subscription more valuable?

Honestly, looking at the great response the old classic pirates poster got on the Facebook group, some nice pictures out of @VaneStream's diorama would work really well as nostalgia fuelled wallpapers...

@SamarthOnce I've taken some good pictures I'd be happy for them to be featured.

Perhaps a further idea for the E-mail would be to include a short "comic strip" with recurring lego pirate characters. Probably not drawn but using photography. This could either be a continuous story or just short little episodes.

Yes, that post has flown past 100K Reach and the classic marketing collateral usually prompts that kind of response, so we should definitely use it to our advantage.

I think acquiring high resolution scans and tidying up those posters, one by one may have potential.

So each time a new poster is complete, we mail it out to subscribers while adding it a Vault/archive post webpage on Classic-Pirates.com.

And then when we've completed the 1989-1997 posters, we can write a blog plot and promote the  webpage.

This way, they subscribers receive ongoing updates while everyone else has to wait for archive webpage to be completed.

It's a great idea... but who has the time and skills to commit to something like that on a regular basis?
