Either or both would make sense.

I actually don't think so, see my post from the last Thursday.

The bigger cylinders in DGB from  the 42144 fit very nicely for the gripper mechanism.

For anyone who isn't familiar with this 🐕, here it is again...

...and I am wondering how this model is gonna use the V2 pneumatic cylinders without being utterly mahoosive.

Maybe the mounting points for the cylinders will be different?

Let's assume we get some logs along with the model

The 42080 had 24 out of 1003 pieces of 92947.jpgmeaning 1 per 41,79.

The 42094 had 20 out of 827 pieces of  3941.jpgmeaning 1 per 41,35.

So we can fairly assume we get (1492 / 41,57) = 36 pieces of wood :drunk:

Edit:

Jokes aside, I really hope for 2 bigger log pieces done with a combination of these:

The 948L-II totes an utterly mahoosive claw, so it should come with something at least.

Something big.

Yes please :-)

Just found this video. Even though not pneumatic, the scale is similar. Especially the grabber construction is really cool.

Looks like there are some A frame type parts for "boom"

has suspension

Most probably, the same used on Volvo loader 42030, just swinging rear axle.

Really nice! :pir-love:

Actually I nearly have no real complaints!

Overall size fits, even though the wheel width maybe is a tiny bit to wide. Everything looks clean, nearly no blue pins visible. Colour consistency is great, too. We got 2 strong diffs, which is just cool from TLG as they aren't needed here. We have 4 new grey 2x11 cylinders and 1x11 cylinder for the grabber. The pneumatic switches seem a little hard to reach, but maybe this is just due to perspective. The A-frame is perfectly placed here.

I am curious, how the blade actuation works, hopefully pneumatic, too.

From the pic on the box I cannot tell if this has suspension or if the tire is just angled weirdly

Just pendular suspension on the front axle like in the real world model.

*Edit: No winch? :-/

Green 3x19 frames, new claw parts, new A frame parts, looks like a cool set!

Wow I think that is 3x5 alter beam.

Dito. The 3x19 would be too long for the articulation of the rear part.

So far I see new parts:

- Bent Grapple Arms in Yellow
- A-frame in Black

Newly coloured parts:

- 3x7 panel in green
- 3x5 L-shaped flip flop liftarm in green

Really impressed. Looks rough and boxy just like the real thing, seems to have all the functions (even openable doors from what it looks like), nice new pieces. Nothing to complain apart from the price beeing a bit high. Nice to see Technic beeing (what I consider) proper Technic!

Excited! This is what I want from a Technic set, must buy for me. For the set, for all the nice parts, and I’m expecting some interesting alternatives!

Looks nice. Like a proper Technic model with plenty of functionality. Not a fan of the huge yellow specialized parts, but they might see a use somewhere in the future. Good to see a proper set in green and with pneumatics, using the dark-gray pneumatic parts. I might just get this, maybe even together with the Mars rover.

I am a bit curious to see the geometry of the angled beams in the boom though.

I like the way the pump's been integrated! Took me a minute to find it.

Also, 3L axle joiners in green.

I don't understand why they use strong diff on models without motorization.

To allow me and people like me to have them without buying very expensive super car set ;)

Model looks good, has interesintg parts, it looks like I will add it to the list, yay!

Looks like 3x19 frames in green after all.

What is the small black part in the pinhole of the green panel behind the rear wheel?
