So I guess it's another Ellie Sattler included alongside Muldoon in the Velociraptor set, meaning she's in all of the sets of the wave.

I mean she is not in the Dilo set, but it actually is kind of odd how many she is in...

Damnit, these builds are actually pretty good. I was thinking I would be able to completely ignore these, especially considering I never like the prices of this theme, but I really love these. Even the Visitor Center seems pretty solid, given its piece count. I may have to get one or two of these, I really quite like them.

Also, that Explorer is just straight up the same design from the diorama, or at least pretty close (the bumper looks a bit different and it has a different number), but that is pretty funny to me.

Personally, I generally prefer brick built Dinos, but I must admit, these all look quite good, so I will really consider getting some of this wave.

Gotta say, I really love these. They even printed the Barbasol can, which is crazy since they probably had to license that!

I'm glad to see they finally gave Ellie a better hairpiece and her shirt is now coral colored instead of pink! They finally corrected Lex's hair color. Too bad they didn't use Indy's new hair mold for Alan though.

The Visitors Center turned out better than I expected, I am still anxious to see the inside. I wish they had given us smaller raptors that would better fit inside, I would have been okay with them just recoloring the Atrociraptor.

So it looks like the brachiosaurus is five pieces body, head, jaw, tail, neck. The body looks like the legs are a part of the mold.

These are a big swing and a miss for me. Maybe I just set my expectations for the builds too high after the descriptions and from getting spoiled by the 18+ T-Rex paddock last year.

Alan Grant not getting a recolor of the new Indy hair hat combo was a huge missed opportunity. Those Indiana Jones sets were allegedly completed and ready for release last summer before the movie got delayed, so this had to have just been an internal communication issue.

Also it's a shame to see Lego return to the practice of reusing builds. The Explorer gets a pass since the diorama is a bit pricier, aimed at a different audience, and will be off shelves sooner, but the Jeep appearing nearly unchanged in two separate sets is kinda crappy.

There are some glaring omissions for the minifigures too. I get the 4+ set is made for kids, but I think for 35 bucks they could've at least included one of those workers with the red hardhat. Same goes for the triceratops set, at that price point adding Dr. Harding is the least they could've done.

I like the cool 90s looking box art though, even if clashes a bit with the modern looking T-Rex.

Honestly call me out if I'm being a bit overly critical. I get these are made for kids, but I genuinely think all these cut corners would've bothered me when I was a kid too.

I love these sets, especially the Brachiosaurus set!!! The color choice is weird and the fixed in place legs are unexpected but ai absolutely love this set of molds and the set overall is fantastic. I wasn't really expecting such a huge tree but it's nice that this set works for 2 different iconic scenes from the film. The Triceratops set is my 2nd favorite, the Ford Explorer will be very nice to get and the new Triceratops looks great. I really didn't know if they would include the dung pile or not but they sure did and it's hilarious that they gave Ian Malcolm a shovel. The visitor's center at least has a very nice facade and the Dilophosaurus set is nice. Overall I am very happy with this wave.

Is it just me or is it a little wired the piece count isn't on the front of the box.

Commonly, countries other than the US don’t have piece counts on the box.

For a move made in 1993 I think appealing to adults is the logical thing to do. Other than that I agree with you.

Oh thanks didn't know. Thought it might have been a leaked prototype box art or something.

Huh, I actually feel like that is something I quite like about the wave. I like general build consistency, and I really hope the Ford is not too different from the diorama. I think having the two jeep variants being nearly identical is honestly rather neat about this, although I can see why it might have been more interesting to have one not be a Jeep, but I really do not know what would have fit in either of those sets instead.

Also, did Lego use to reuse builds a lot? I cannot think of a lot of times that it has happened, only one that comes to mind is the BB shuttle.

Oh man, this wave has me very excited now. I didn’t have much interest in the T-Rex Rampage set outside of the minifigs, so I’m glad to see the assortment here. They all look great.

Looking into it, maybe not as much as I thought. The only one I could remember off the top of my head was a Speed Racer set reusing the exact same 200 piece build in two separate sets.

There's something about the gaudy colour scheme and general art design of the packaging that I feel like is doing a disservice to the actual sets here. I bet they'll look a lot better in person / in the lifestyle images.

Do I see two or three different heads for Ellie? Weird that she doesn't include the dual moulded boots in any set though, when the part already exists. It surely can't add THAT much to LEGO's costs when it isn't even new.

I have fond memories of JP and was really looking forward to these sets. While I appreciate the dinos and the fig lineup, the builds really are pretty weak. raptor should’ve been either the pen, clever girl, or Ellie priming the generator.

Alright, sooo now that I've seen the sets... I'm not sure what to think 😅

Box art is a bit of a mess. The idea was there, but... That ugly Rexy head on the left side? Uh. The three smaller sets visually have less bricks than I expected. Visitor center looks really good, I'm a big fan! Kinda disappointed by lack of new minifigures, and SO MAMY Ellies.

Dilophosaurus is spot on (I personally prefer the bigger mould, but this one is more movie accurate). Raptors look good, tho sadly differ in colour from freezer raptor. And I think they're both the same, meh. Not sure about triceratops. It should be dark bluish gray. And I have mixed feelings about the almost-full-brown scheme. Rexy seems VERY similar to Dominion's Rexy but with some scars! I think that's good because tye colours do look close to the movie, tho maybe tan is not perfect. Anyway, it'll be a bit funny having two so similar rexes.

Finally, brachiosaurus. In terms of size, it doesn't look small or thin on the image. And new moulds aren't bad! I do wonder how many studs. But light bluish gray colour? It's gonna seem odd next to 2020's indominus rex. I think the rex tail is reused and maybe it doesn't look bad. Dunno. And immovable legs. Hmm that's gonna make animating kinda challenging, uh.

Not sure if I'll be buying all of them.

The Triceratops looks great, best one yet. The original JP velociraptor colour was better but variety isn't so bad. I thought the Rex was the same as in 76948 but it has different markings. I'd prefer more medium nougat. Between 76936, 76956 and the moulded Rexes I would have hoped Lego could come up with a more consistent colour scheme for Roberta.

The outside of the visitor centre is much better than I would have expected, I look forward to seeing the back.

Yes, it's quite clever that the tree can be used for the "Welcome to Jurassic Park" scene and reused for the brachiosaurus sneezing on Lex scene.

Disappointing.....

But I am looking forward to seeing if Malcolm gets a recoloured black hair piece since the one they've used before is not ideal. I was thinking the Jerry Seinfeld mullet or maybe the new Obi Wan hair from the Disney+ series.

....even more disappointing. One day we'll get the right hair in black.

At least if Alan had the Indy hat and hair combo they could have had two face prints, one with Aviators, one without. Oh well.

I'll be saving some money here. Disappointed in the Brachio. Glad that they made a moulded one. However, the non-movable legs is lazy and a dealbreaker for me. I also don't think the colour is that great. I was hoping for a smaller version of the Brachio from the LEGO game, as that looked fab to me. This? Not for me, unfortunately. I hope someone else gets to appreciate it. I was ready to get all of these. Now, the only thing I'm considering is getting Muldoon from Bricklink.

Yeah, TT games did not have to go as hard as they did with those designs. Almost 8 years down the line and the coloring on their T-Rex is still the best coloring we’ve seen in my opinion.

Their Jeep and Explorer builds both got way closer to minifig scale and had way more brick built details too.

I really like the jeep build, especially Nedry's where they switched out a couple of pretty common lbg parts for brown to simulate mud, but the canvas cover seems a bit thick (maybe they should've moved the airplane window forward a stud? Not a huge deal, I can look past it) Gonna have to wait for reviews for everything else though. Kinda funny, it looks like the Brachio color scheme is based off a toy in JP3 that Ellie's kid is playing with (light gray w blue markings) rather than the actual dinosaur (tan / dark tan)

Feel free to disagree, but this is one of the best JW/JP waves so far in my opinion. The dinos look great (even though the lack of articulation on the Brachio is unfortunate), the minifigs received some nice updates (no new Indy fedora though), and the builds look cool too. Finally we have both car models from the original movie!

And the Visitor Center, while being merely a facade, captures the likeness of the building very well!

No Gennaro still, but having Muldoon makes up for that

The builds are fine. But the colours of the dinosaurs are awful. Why are the velociraptors grey? They got it right in 2017, the velociraptor chase set had a perfect one. And rexy, dammit were never going to get an accurately coloured rexy are we.

Yeah, I also love those sets. One of the best LEGO Jurassic waves ever imo.

The builds are all fantastic, especially the tree. The Visitor Centre is so much better than I've anticipated.

I love the colours on all the dinosaurs, especially the velociraptor. It's weird that the brachiosaurus doesn't have leg articulation tho.

The minifigures are good (love the hairpiece for Ellie, but Alan should've used Indy's new hat mould), but the distribution is really weird — like really, four Ellies?

I hope you're right, because I'm not loving these right now. Let's hope it's the box art setting things off poorly. At the moment, likely to only get the triceratops set. I wanted to love the visitor center and brachio sets, but just don't.

As jptoys on IG points out, every single one of the sets includes a frog in a different colour. That is such an amazing detail

I love that!
