The other one was sand blue (and there also is a olive green one). In general I like the colouring of the new dinos, sometimes they have quite weird colouring. 

 

Both sets look great to me, but I will likely only get the baby dinos. The display however bugs me because of the sticker. I mean Star Wars gets printed badges now, but Jurassic Parc and Indiane Jones only get prints (that also bugged me with T-Rex Escape and the Temple. I mean they are displays. They should have prints.

I hope I am wrong about the pterodactyl neck if all the did was slightly adjust the neck and nothing else, it would be real cool it could land and not always be in the flying pose.

Im very VERY disappointed with this new wave: 

 

the baby set is so close to perfection but they just had to use the same pteranodon as the 2022 dominion set, im all for Pteranodon in many sets they are my favorite animal after all but GODAMN IT would I much preferred seeing a new print: tan and blue like in tlw, an updated grey and red, grey and green, or a more sea bird inspired white and black but overall the set is AMAZING definitely top 10 LEGO Jurassic world sets 

 

 

the skull is my biggest issue mostly cause I care and I beleive most people prefer getting new molded creatures over this niche things

The fossil is cool! As someone who loves display pieces, this is probably my favourite JP set released so far

 

the other one is okay, I do like it and think it’s cute and I’ll get it, but not until it’s on sale, or clearance.

It feels like a shame that the skull and footprint aren't to the same scale. That's cheaping out on parts to make the footprint smaller.

Because it will sell much better with it.

The logo on the box might seem like a minor difference, but it does change a lot.

Because they don’t have an in-house dino theme at the moment and I can’t imagine Universal being very happy with TLG selling unlicensed dinosaur products  Sure, there’s the fossil in the new modular museum, but that’s just a small side build, not the main attraction

Sweat a baby dino battle pack haha. It's nice to get so many little dinos in one set and new variants of Darius and Sammy is great. I'm glad to see more Camp Cretateous representation because that gives me hope we might eventually get an adult Bumpy and wild Ben! The adult Ankylosaurus mold is just too awesome to be relegated to just one set from 2019, although that is my favorite Jurassic World set of all time.

Random question, do you think a Jurassic World Advent Calendar would work? 
There are more baby dinos now and there could be more on the way, they could work in an AC 

Mini builds of distinct locations or vehicles, Dino food and traps, laboratory equipment, missing characters from the classic movies or new variants etc. recolours of baby dinos etc

I've been wanting this for years lol, i think it would be fantastic and i hope they eventually create one!

Maybe they could also have like one day you build a dinosaur fossil leg then the next day the other one and five days later dinosaur skeleton. Love the missing characters part. Too bad the meat and potatoes of the jurassic park line is the dinosaur because I don't think the molded dinosaur except the babys and maybe a juvenile or two.

Given how small the baby dinos are in person, I feel like they could atleast try to sneak in a green Atrociraptor since Mattel used one for its Captivz and Dino Trackers lines. Also because https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5X3TXa8TMgo

The skeleton over several days is a neat idea! I can see them doing a T-Rex in scale with the sauropod from the museum set

Haha, I said all this. But ended up buying all the sets except for the Visitor's Centre one. From which I Bricklinked all the minifigs plus a few pieces. I now dig all the new dinos, but haven't gotten the new T-Rex as of yet, as I find the 2012/2015? Dark orange/Dark brown lego T-Rex so iconic it's hard to replace it. That now brings my Jurassic PARK collection closer to completion. All I now need is Gennaro, a new goat (the old one is sooo pricey), a new Stygimoloch (wasn't quite happy about the pattern on the last one), and we're there. Perhaps a new gate and a helicopter, eventually a Brachio with movable legs. But other than that, we now need to go to JP 2 and 3 for more stuff. (yes, I know JP 2 was called the Lost world :-D ) That's where I'd want to get a Stego and and Pachy. But seriously, I never thought the TLG would give us what we have gotten from the original movie these last couple of years...! :-D

As we get closer to January, it makes me more about what will happen after this January 2024. I am hoping they would introduce some me fossil displays, more new dinosaurs,  maybe new Jurassic World show?

Scaled-down posable velocriatpor is real tricky. You could have seen raptor speices from the Dominon wave last year - Beta, Pyroraptor Africoratpror  - and those molds are not very posable. 

How can they make those raptors mold more posable if they scarle them down?

I’m totally fine wiht Articoratpror and Pyroraptor the way they are.

Well, the old monkey mold from the 90s was pretty posable and that was barely the size of a minifigure, so some connections only the size of a bar would be my best guess

Honeslty, I never had that monkey in my life but you could make a point there.  Yes the size of bar can fit into that monkey as much as a minifigure. 

We shall see about the new velociraptor mold in future.
