You are right.  I got carried away with enthusiasm and did not check thoroughly!  Also I follow few people on Insta and they are usually reliable, but looking at the profile he is not actually a leaker and at this point I have big doubts that the guy with two posts has real information :-(((

Well that means bigfigures are still a possibility :-D

I don’t usually post here outside of the historic theme.  I am a purist castle fan and feel all my time and money should be spent there and on those sets.  You know, trying to show TLG castle is still in demand.  What better way than to vote with my wallet right?

That being said, I am a huge x men fan.  Especially of the old comics and tv shows I was into as a kid.  If these figs and (hopefully) sets are based off those, I’m actually going to buy a non-castle set.  In fact, I will buy all of them.  Never thought I’d see the day.  Touche LEGO.

I hear rumors of a mansion set?!  That’s fantastic news!  I hope it includes the danger room!

I did; he did not pay much attention to the Marvel sets/Minifigs, as he is not very well-versed in the material. He did see a Minifig that he said looked like an "update" of the CMF Monica Rambeau, so I assume that this is for the The Marvels set (since he also saw Ultron). I asked about Carol and Kamala, but he had no information regarding them.

An image of a prototype X-Mansion (from the same questionnaire as the medieval village, I believe) leaked a while back. There is no indication that the set is going to be released this year, from the information that we currently have (it may not even get released at all, since the model looked like a proof-of-concept more than a finished set).

u/FluffySky6 saw an Ultron Minifig, so we can assume that he is appearing (since I cannot think of any other set he could show up, unless the 4+ Cap/Nat bike set has him).
The currently-rumoured lineup is: Iron Man Mk.43, Iron Man Mk.45, Tony, Pepper, Widow, Hawkeye, Cap, Thor, Banner, Vision, Quicksilver, Wanda, and Ultron Mk.I. I am not sure what the source is for that list, though, and only 13 Minifigs in such a large set is very disappointing (especially since all are characters and variants that can appear in normal AoU sets).

Wolverine is the batman/spider-man of the x-men. Recognizable and selling point. I think he’ll be in x-men sets forever.

100%. For the time being at least he's probably the only one that can sell a set on his own (as evidenced by the fact that he got a mech). Maybe that won't be the case once they're in the MCU, but for now it's safe to assume that any Lego X-Men release is probably going to have him, other than maybe if they did 3 or 4 sets in one wave, which I seriously doubt is happening any time soon.

Which part are you doubting? That we'd get more X-Men sets, or that we'd get 3/4 minifigure sets in a wave?

Seen a user making some claims about Avengers Tower. Normally I'd let that slide as we've just had info on that and it could be people latching onto the hype train, but interestingly enough they have claims about the Captain Marvel 2 set also and nobody has really cared enough about that set to want to leak info about it so that is intriguing.

The leaker claims that the set will feature only four figures, those being Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeua, Ms. Marvel and Yan D'Aladna.

I still can't see that being enough to justify the price if it were to happen even if all four of them were fully printed new figures.

Yeah hopefully those posts aren't legit leaks. 4 figures in the marvels set and 12 in the Avengers Tower would be pretty dissapointing.

The leaked list of minifigs for the x men mansion appears to include all 3 figures in the minifigure series that was just confirmed.  It would be nice to know before getting the individual figures if they will all show up in the mansion set later so we don’t end up with doubles.  I know the chances of getting anything from TLG in this regard is slim, so hopefully they are at least different skins.

We don't even know know if this set will ever release. And it it does, we have no idea when. 

Not to mention that the figures will have to be different.

I'll happily take a Wolverine minifgure in every X-Men set going forward if it meant we were getting more X-Men sets with new characters! Beast will be the first new X-Men minifgure since the Blackbird set 9 years ago! (Firestar from the Daily Bugle doesn't really count as she is more associated as one of Spider-Man's amazing friends than as one of the X-Men)

If they recycle CMF figures to a set, it would be lazy. I think the CMF and the possible Xmansion are special enough that at least one of the three get a do-over. 
Has Lego ever recycled a CMF item as is?

As someone had already pointed out, Beast can easily be upgraded with the coat.  Wolverine and Storm, compared to the CMF, can only receive a downgrade :-D

but other than that, what new pieces and accessories do you think they could receive???  I thought of a new mohawk for Storm, a toupee with ears for Beast, and for Wolverine I'm undecided: a new mask with white eyes, like the new Batman?  a new shoulder armor system?  new claws?  what do you think
