M_slug357 Posted December 14, 2022 So BrickLink has started another, more streamlined, attempt at an AFOL designer program through Stud.io... Is anyone interested in this? The submission entry timeframe is fairly narrow imho... There are also (comically) only 4~5 trains' specific parts available for use in the approved "palette" ... But thinking positively, this might be a chance to get more trackside structures (roundhouse, grain elevator, viaduct, etc) into the pipeline? Maybe a freight car 4-pack add-on? Passenger car 2-pack supplement? Your thoughts? Did you get that massive Studgate train station set via Bricklink? If so, how is it?
Darkkostas25 Posted December 15, 2022 (edited) Yeah train parts are too strict and bizarre :( but we can make it work maybe I`ll try something And yeah not only rolling stock but even trains but they may not be motorized from a box Edited December 15, 2022 by Darkkostas25
Cara Posted January 27 I'm entering, its a vehicle but not a train. The palette looks great until you start building to a specific idea, then you realise its got breadth but not depth. There have already been guidelines that the five models they pick with be from a variety of themes so at most you will get one train or train related, if lucky. Modeltrainman Posted February 22 I did some train related stuff, as I want more trains.
