Sympatik Brick Posted December 12, 2022 (edited) My entry for the « Old but Gold » category in Guilds of Historica: final contest. I’ve built a new part for the blacksmith but they can fix one to the other… i've added too two « red light brick ». It’s also my entrie for « Trading Place » category in Brickscalibur challenge. Walt Herboï is now a dragon’s clan knight. He needs to choose a sword, Hoppefully, the best blacksmith in Avalonia is living in Marginea, his apprentice is really talented too! Old (on the left) but Gold (on the right) Old AND Gold together! Link to the « Old » Moc: Edited December 12, 2022 by Sympatik Brick
Kai NRG Posted December 15, 2022 Fun idea to make the new MOC combine with your old one! Great job ramping up the intensity of the fire!
Simon_S Posted January 9 nice build! I like how it works together with the first one. you improved many things from the frist one... there are more details in the walls - I especially like the decorations over the arches. and then there are some small things like the chandles on the wall or the wood next to te fire place that make the scene come alive :-). Aurore Posted January 9 What a nice idea! I really like how the new build extends the old one. The floor pattern is beautiful too, as well as the stone carvings. Excellent blackmith minifig too!
Grover Posted April 2 Very cool! Love how you've incorporated that gold shield seamlessly, and you've managed to get a lot of detail in the grey through texture alone. The lighted fires look great too! One tip for photography that I found helpful is to take the picture from further away, then zoom in and crop. It gives a better depth of field and allows for more overall clarity of things in the build. Nice work!
Ecclesiastes Posted April 18 Great idea of combining old and new! Also clever use of trans clear orange sword!

It is not impossible that I continue the "puzzle" until I get a "complete" Moc! On 1/9/2023 at 3:37 AM, Simon_S said: nice build! This is exactly what I wanted to add to the scene: a little life, the crackling fire, the candles and the presence of some minifigs for which I could not have found a place in the first creation. Thank you, I wanted to put a little relief on the ground compared to the first part, even if there are no complicated techniques here, I am satisfied with the rendering! In reality I made the figurine of the blacksmith on the right a long time ago but I kept it "hidden" for a possible contest "CMF" like the previous year. It was on the occasion of this conours that I joined Guilds of Historica the year before and I thought the CMF competition would come back on a regular basis! To incorporate the shield I used this piece upside down, and I took advantage of the window to fix the shield, which itself retains the piece from the Ninjago tops. I received a letter from my LUG these two light bricks as a gift for my first participation in an exhibition (100% GoH)... the same day I finished this creation! Thank you for the tip! I'll try for sure! On 4/18/2023 at 8:51 PM, Ecclesiastes said: Great idea of combining old and new! Also clever use of trans clear orange sword! Thank you! I knew how to use this trans orange part the day I’ve seen it. I bought a little Ninjago set mainly for this part!
