I have seen them at K-Mart, Target and Big-W Armadale (though the K-Mart ones were being very roughly feel-checked and literally chucked aside by scalpers), and Myer and Target Cannington. I only found 1 Mr Gold and I don't intend on selling him for a ridiculous price online, but I also bought my set of 16 and some doubles. Also the dot code on Brickset is totally different to the one I got on my Mr Gold, so I'm not sure if the dots vary from region to region. This grosses me to no end, since it defeats the purpose of a randomised prize and someone else is going to have to foot the bill for the discarded bags that now have effectively 0% chance of containing a prize. I hope TLG changes how they package these things and realise that a golden ticket would not have worked if people could feel the difference in chocolate bars. By now, I can just about guarantee every kid & their parents know how to feel for minifigures in these packs. I've been to a store in the past where there are 3 or 4 of us feeling for specific figures & none of them were grabbing hoards of any in particular. Kye33 Posted May 10, 2013 I was talking to a mum at school today and she reckons her son got a gold one last night, but she had no idea it was a rare one or that she could go to the lego website to see where they have been found! She joked that she doesnt even know where it would be and that it will be in her sons room somewhere :0 Then I found myself telling her how I've been looking for them and that other AFOL are searching in shops all over Australia and then I realised she was looking at me like a was a complete nutcase! Not sure how you could feel for the plastic bag, He has a diamond too which should be easy to feel for but I'd stick with his top hat first then confirm with diamond. 11 Mr Golds now registered as found in Australia. The inner bag is the same type found in actual sets, like the Tauntaun, Rancor, or any other specialised moulded piece that comes out of China.
