Ayrlego Posted October 22, 2022 Camp Isaac has never been your typical Corlander settlement. Established by the Royal Society of Natural Philosophy, it has always been heavily populated by scientists and researchers, many on their way to nearby Myzectlan. The sleepy settlement is nestled in a riverine delta and is characterised by structures built into the river banks with minimal impact on the lush jungle and transport is mainly by boat or punt. The garrison is also unique, the Royal Pioneers are not your typical infantry unit and specialise in life on the frontier. Whilst the majority of the garrison inhabit dwellings inside the palisades, a small outpost has been established on an island that guards the approaches to the main settlement. Here a detachment of pioneers keep an eye on vessels approaching the settlement and keep records of the goods going both up and down the river. A recycling of the cabin from my north-western frontier build earlier this year. The cabin has been sitting on my bench since January waiting this scene! If you go far back enough in my photo stream you may recognise the tower as well! Will be licensed for either the settlement or faction, I haven't worked out which is best yet as a large culture (government) property.
LM71Blackbird Posted October 22, 2022 I saw the WIPs over on discord, and the full build does certainly not disappoint! All the greenery really makes the build feel like it is carved into some thick terrain.
Kai NRG Posted October 22, 2022 I'm loving all the foliage and especially all the variety of plant types here! Has some serious jungle vibes. Really cool build.
Professor Thaum Posted October 22, 2022 Another wondeful build, with style, and an awese greenies display and... WOW WOW STOOOP ! What are you doing you bloody corries ! To many builds in a row, doping control for the whole team !
Yperio_Bricks Posted October 22, 2022 I love the dense vegetation and that there is auch a large variety of trees and plants. Who can spot the chameleon? The cabin is great and together with the observation tower and jetty it creates a formidable outpost. Have you thought about adding some muddy and swampy waters to go along with the vegetation? Garmadon Posted October 23, 2022 Ooh, who can help loving a cabin emerging (or being swallowed by ) the jungle? Really nice build, great use of those seaweed pieces too - way to show LEGO how it's done!
