[Freebuild] Forest trolls'cavern keep entrance

Recommended Posts

Home to the troll king, where he has amassed some wealth between mining and robbing Avalonian travelers that come too close to his lair.

That's a vicious looking head, really neat idea for the entrance to a troll hideaway!

very nice, I like the head as entrance :D. I also like the flames as eyes. Is this your first build for the guilds? Come on! Brick on

Its just my second build for the guilds! Still pretty new around here. Longtime lurker who just got his bricks back from overseas, looking to participate actively from now on.

First build was this one:

Good job!  At first glance, the entrance looked a little regular, then I noticed the snake head a second later!  Really creative and well done.  You used the parts you have very well, and the dirt path looks great.  I particularly like the grey rock top used to the side of the path, and it's fun to see the old trolls again.  For suggestions, I would recommend getting some more light on the piece for your camera, and if possible, putting a white or light gray sheet behind it so the background is less busy.  Oftentimes what you will find is that great builds will not attract as much attention (or win contests if you compete) without excellent photography.  I do like the angles of your photos, keeping the angle low at the POV of the minis is nice.  Keep up the good work!

Lovely entrance to the cave, the head is suitable menacing and a cool entrance to the troll hideout! As Grover mentioned, a solid colored background would help a lot with the pictures, and also having an overall shot that incudes the entire build without having any parts cut off would add a lot to the presentation. Welcome back, it’s always nice to see people returning to GoH!
