I'm hoping the sniper has his macrobinoculars with the new helmet! (I don't speak German, so they may have mentioned it, I just heard Battlefront in there somewhere)

Well this wave looks like it’ll be good on my wallet. I might be interested in the dioramas, depending on how they look, but everything else we know about isn’t interesting at all.

To be honest, this was pretty overhyped  A new TIE Bomber is cool, but its alleged minifigs are nonsense, the dioramas are again supremely boring OT-fests, and no Andor sets. The highlights are definitely the BP and the Mando sets!

As always, I am very interested in some of these sets. The helmets (maybe first ones). Hopefully the EP VI sets are dioramas, with the throne room quote being "I am a Jedi, like my father before me". Tie Bomber is cool but I hope it is not downscaled. 501st BP...very interesting.

They better have a lot of tree builds in the Speeder Bike set if it’s $110 CAD for 4 speeder bikes on a stand.

It’ll be interesting to see how they fit the Throne Room on a baseplate/border, especially considering it’s basically the same price as the play scale one, and the size of it in universe is much larger than the other 18+ sets at that price point.

And it’s extremely disappointing that the majority of sets continue to be from the OT.

Wow, this list sounds promising for sure!

Any chance the 501st Commander is Vaughn? Please be Vaughn :cry_happy:

They probably would’ve said 332nd instead of 501st if it were Vaughn.

The sets sound like an objectively cool wave with big variety, but personally, it's a huge meh.

Microfighter — meh.

The Mandalorian S3 — HUGE meh.

More helmets — meh (although I like the choices).

Dioramas — I'd be hyped, but the prices make it the opposite. Do we need an 80€ Endor chase diorama, or another overpriced and oversized Death Star II duel? Would've been better at a lower price imo.

TIE Bomber does sound really cool, and I'll get the 501st set, because it will sell like crazy in a few years (and it'll go along nicely with me regular 501st Battle Pack).

AND I NEED MORE ANDOR SETS! PLEASE LEGO!

I think we have to count the Endor Action Battle thing from 2019 as an actual set. It's not quite your typical system-scale thing, but it's much closer to that than it is to the 4+ stuff, and it has a proper speeder bike, Ewok tree, etc. But that doesn't change the basic point that Endor has been seriously underrepresented relative to Hoth, Tatooine, and Kashyyyk in particular for the last decade or so.

:hmpf_bad: fine. Though as someone who made the mistake of buying it, that is NOT a proper speeder bike.

All is proceeding as I have forseen.

Disagree! They're some pretty iconic and interesting scenes, and were you really expecting Andor to get multiple sets planned before it released? TBOBF only had two, and one of them was just the post credits from Mando S2.

I think they said they both are. The Throne Room sets must sell great, this is our third in 8 years.

It's most likely the 501st officer outfit from BFll, since the other figures are supposed to be from that.

Slave 1 Microfighter is solid. Good way to get a previously pretty expensive Boba.

501st specialists pack is GREAT, though I wish it was an ARC trooper or commando instead of a second heavy. Definately getting at least 1, maybe two.

I'm very happy that we're finally getting a new TIE Bomber, but it seems waaay to small at that price. Love that a GONK is included, but I've had my TIE bomber moc for over a year now, I'm gonna stick with that.

P2 Rex helmet is great. P1 cody helmet less so. I feel a generic P1 helmet would have been better here.

I love the throne room being a diorama. Might be the first Throne Room I pick up.

Speeder Chase is also a nice idea, but I think the execution is going to be a bigger thing for this one. I hope it looks like the speeders are actually going fast.

$35 and $100 sets being mando is a surprise to be sure, but whether or not it's a welcome one depends on, you know, what they are. Bold prediction: Beskar Mando and Baby Yoda are in at least one of them.

$40 price hike for may UCS...ouch.

Possible Boushh helmet makes sense as an exclusive, since it's more niche.

Really?

The microfighter is a nice cheap way to get boba, and our first slave one microfighter. That's pretty solid IMO.

We literally know NOTHING about the mando S3 sets aside from prices. How can they be meh already?

I'll give to you that the helmets could be meh, but they aren't going away. It's something we're gonna have to deal with, they apparently sell well enough.

Oh my gosh, what if the 501st captain is actually Jesse? :oh:

Any ideas what the $70 set is yet? Fingers crossed we get Rex there!

As I've said, I meant it personally. I get why others are hyped, but I couldn't care less.

I don't collect Microfighters, and I wouldn't buy one for a minifigure.

I didn't like Mando S2. I heavily disliked a lot of the episodes, and I despised the finale. The synopsis for S3 makes me genuinely irritated, and I hated what they did in TBoBF. I don't even really plan on watching it, nor Ahsoka. I couldn't care less about the Mando corner of the universe tbh.

And you misunderstood — I'm not saying I'm mad those sets are getting made, or they shouldn't be. I'm just saying that I don't care about any of them.

I have mixed feelings about this list of sets so far.

75344 is the only prediction I got right so far lmao. Boba Fett and his Firespray as a Microfighter seems like a no brainer following his show and it’s a ship we’ve never really gotten as a Microfighter before. (Aside from a rare convention exclusive set that technically wasn’t even a Microfighter set.)

75345 being a 212th Battle Pack seemed like another no brainer in my eyes, but it’s going to be another 501st one? The 501st is my favorite clone legion and I love the 2020 501st set (I literally have ten built copies of it, plus a few additional clones I got separately), and I admit that it’s really cool that it’s going to be based on the more specialized clones from my beloved Battlefront 2 (RIP). That being said, did we really need another 501st set so soon? I love that Lego is doing clone battle packs again, but this was probably one of the least interesting choices they could have gone with in my eyes.

Like there’s literally a clone-centric show that’s running right now that Lego is doing the bare minimum for. Imagine getting a battle pack with more Coruscant Guard and plain Phase Two clones, or one with Clone Commandos. Not technically clone troopers, but Crosshair’s Elite Squad Troopers or the TK Troopers would have been awesome as well.

I still think we could get a 212th army builder in the form of an Accessory Set next year, which is annoying because of how hard to find the Clone Command Station already is. I just don’t know why Lego is being so stingy with their battle packs recently.

I imagine it’s because they had quite a few lame ones (like Jedi/Clone Troopers or the Tatooine ones) or ones that you couldn’t really army build (like the Bounty Hunter or Praetorian Guard ones) for a couple years, and the poor sales of those sets made Lego dial it back on the proper battle packs, and also compelled them to start doing more pseudo-battle packs like the Dark Trooper set.

For all my grumbling, I’ll still probably get multiples of this new 501st battle pack, but it’s still somewhat of a disappointing pick. The figures sound cool at least.

I was way off with 75347. I was guessing/hoping for a Captain Rex Y-Wing but instead it’s a TIE Bomber. I honestly never really got the hype for the Bomber, but it is one of the few non-MBS Original Trilogy sets they could make at this point that would interest me. The minifigure selection is extremely dull though, especially if this ship shows up in Andor or one of the other new pieces of content that could’ve given this set a much more desirable line-up.

75349 and maybe 75350 are the first two helmet sets that I feel somewhat compelled to buy since I got the Stormtrooper one in late 2020, which I was kinda underwhelmed by. I don’t know if I’ll end up getting them though.

75352 Death Star Throne Room Diorama is a snooze fest. I’m still satisfied with the 2015 Final Duel, which was actually one of my first Lego Star Wars sets. The 2020 one was mostly just a copy and paste, and I imagine this one will be exactly the same except with less play features and one of their “18+” black bases.

75353 is something I’d probably get, but it definitely makes me roll my eyes that this easily could have just been a $30 playset. All you really need is the two speeder bikes and a tree or two. This will probably be a little bit of a nicer display piece, but a lot of the piece count is going towards that base and the 18+ branding. It is exciting to get more Endor sets regardless and I think it’s kinda neat that the diorama sets last year were all ANH and ESB based, while this year will tie in with the ROTJ 40th anniversary.

70355 probably isn’t going to be a set for me, but 75346 and 75348 are exciting for a big Mandalorian fan such as myself.

Overall, it’s a very mixed wave for me. I’ll definitely get the Microfighter, Mandalorian-based sets and multiples of the new 501st BP. I’ll probably get the TIE Bomber and Endor Speeder set for a discount. The Cody and especially the Rex helmets are a maybe. The lack of more Fallen Order/Survivor, Andor and Bad Batch sets is disappointing, but chances are we’ll get that stuff anyway during 2HY. I hope we get at least more OWK set if only to get figures of Obi-Wan in one of his other two outfits, young Leia and Lola, but that might not end up happening.

ITS ONLY TAKEN 19 YEARS BUT OH DAMN TIE BOMBER! NOT JUST THE INTERCEPTOR PLEASE.

loving the sound of the dioramas. This year wasn’t  strong start in my opinion, but speeder bike chase and new final duel sounds great

The rumored list sounds quite good; enough sets for AFOLS (that I absolutely have no interest in) and kids alike. I just wonder how the TIE bomber will look next to the current TIE fighter/X-wing or shuttle scale wise. Hope it's not too simplified.

Ah. An "I don't care" meh as opposed to a "this is mediocre" meh. My mistake.

THANK YOU! Not sure why most people seem not to like these dioramas, I love the chosen scenes and think they have potential to be really great!

I'm thinking about this. My guess is without the price hike, it would have been $60... and at that cost, I think it's going to be at a smaller scale than even the 2021 TIE. A TIE Bomber is better than no TIE bomber, but I wish it'd been awarded a higher price point, so it could be at least in scale with the 2021 TIE.

Tie bomber! Finally! im not a fan of the first generation of sw set, thus I have nothing older than the Endor bunker at present, so for me its fantastic we finally get a OT set (that is not UCS or MBS) that I dont already have. Really hyped for this one, dont expect a variaty of figs but we might get a new imperial officer rank or a named officer character. =)

Dont mind more endor stuff, until this year, its been a while, diorama or not, Hope they bring along atleast a ewok we dont already have.

501 battlepack is not bad, but nothing Im longing for.

Mando 3 sets is a must of course,

Im not collecting brick heads or helmets but understand that they are included.

Its only the thrown room set that I wish it was something else, not to long ago we had a version of it.

And didnt they write that they only had parts of the list? Since it looks a bit small, I dont think this excludes a precense of either more Obi Wan, BoB, BB or Andor sets. Im sure at least one or two of them will be represented.

People don’t like them because they’ve all been from the Original Trilogy and a decent chunk of the pieces and price go into a useless black border. Plus they seem to be $5 to $10 overpriced because Lego knows that the target audience is able to shell out more money than kids are.

I hope so much that the 501st sniper is an Arf Trooper. I’d cry with happiness.

The set is supposedly based on BF2, so it's most likely to be this guy, although of course LEGO has been known to make unpredictable choices.
