[M4-22 - Brick Built Creature] - Loth Wolf

[Inconspicuous]

The mystical Loth Wolves play a major role in Star Wars: Rebels, assisting Ezra Bridger in his fight against the Empire on Lothal. Their connection to the Force is strong and mysterious. They possess the unique ability of hyperspace tunneling and provide Ezra with the keystone to the world-between-worlds. However, meeting them for the first time can be a frightening experience!

 

 

 

 

 

 

I had a blast with this one!

Here are a few reflections on the building process:

• The stripes on the face set the scale for the whole model. Turned out bigger than expected!
• I'm very proud of how the asymmetric mane turned out. The wolf's head is angled in two axes, which made it difficult to shape.
• The body is surprisingly heavy, and I had to redesign the legs several times to support its weight while maintaining the organic pose. Bent legs tend to collapse.
• Why are ears so hard? I swear I spent half the time working on those.

Anyways, hope you enjoy the end result. 

Someone give that wolf a banana, before that wolf eats Ezra...
