zinnn Posted January 18, 2022 (edited) I.e. I want to put this pistol: inside this box: I can use the hinge option on pistol to make it look like it's in a natural position, but when placing it on top of the box it doesn't let me fit it there. This is how I'd like it to look: Edited January 18, 2022 by zinnn
ExeSandbox Posted January 18, 2022 Are you using Stud.io or LEGO Digital Designer? If LDD, it ranges from impossible to very painful. But in Stud.io you can disable collision and that allows you to position parts however you wish.

JopieK Posted January 18, 2022 You can also use some 3 Degrees of Freedom structure like this (many more possibilities depending on your needs): You can now move the blue part up and down and rotate it around the pole and use the green part to rotate the shovel itself independently (so 3 degrees of freedom, you could add even more of course). M2m Posted January 25, 2022 Don't know about Stud.Io but maybe it can import LDD files ? This is what I came up with: https://github.com/sttng/LDD/blob/master/Box01.lxf
