Wow those errors... Thankfully the instructions areĀ made so toddlers can understand them, but all these errors in a premium ā‚¬400 flagship set is embarrassing.Ā

There are really plenty errors...

Another example: when placing the engine cover, a sub-assembly thereof disappears...

Actually it doesn't disappear -- it's rotated 90 degrees forward if you look carefully.

Good lord there are a lot of errors this time!

All my Jedi building skills will be required *Cough*

In typical Lego release day my order is still in the warehouse. Lets see how many days it sits there for on this order! If our warehouse worked like theirs we would not have much of a business!Ā

Ian...

Same here. Just got my cancellation email 16 minutes ago. I called them too;ā€¦ how can you put my order on hold, then tell me 35 minutes later that I have one, and then cancel on me anyway the next morning ???

It's the new Lego quality control: the first buyers and reviewers.

Guess they've been taking hints from the software industry.

I'll share the Studio model when I'm done.Ā

Meanwhile I'd appreciate if someone can create the new panels and share them.

Exactly.Ā  Here is a thought.Ā  Employ color vomit to increase building ease, but also increase instruction errors to decrease building ease.Ā  Brilliant TLG.Ā  Only the best will do Lego.Ā  Only the best.Ā  Really don't care about the costs of these UCS cars, but the cost in conjunction with what appears to be sloppy and rushed development and release.Ā  IMHO, kinda unacceptable.Ā Ā

It will be a couple of months before the Ferrari Daytona SP3 isĀ available in New Zealand.
Started to play around with the front end with Technic parts on hand and workout a few changes.

well after convincing my wife to stay up past midnight to order me the book, she managed to successfully place one after the US website finally showed stock at about 12:40am. At about 2:21pm the ordered was inexplicably cancelled because the book was sold out. Gee thanks, Lego. Hope others fared better than I did.

IT'S F@#&ING BLAKBIRD!!!Ā

Sorry! Erm....yeah I gotta hand it to Lego, the book has proven very popular, probably more popular than Lego thought, so hopefully there will be a second run "due to popular demand". Or maybe an E-book made available?Ā

After fighting for a year to buy a graphics card because of scalpers, I'm pretty sure the limited edition book was snatched up by them too. They have checkout bots that can order several at a time.

That's nothing. Try and compete with the bots on the hotwheels site. Unless you managed a pre order on one of the latest legends cars. Sold out in 15 seconds.
