That remimds me: this being a Brickheadz set could mean that SoD is not even getting Brickheadz :laugh_hard: Big oof

Plot twist: It's the Professors during the times of Fantastic Beasts.

Oh boy, I'm so excited to get a Brickheadz of "Professor Mcgonagall teaching at Hogwarts a decade before she was born", and "Dumbledore who is just a guy in a suit"!

Nah but in all seriousness I am excited for an HP professors Brickheadz pack. Both of last year's sets were fantastic, so getting more is great.

 Nailed it.

Agreed, Bellatrix' hair was a thing of beauty, so well done, and I really liked Nagini.

A couple of years ago, I’d probably have been disappointed with the „accessory pack“ news, but given how short our list of missing characters has become (especially with Yaxley coming and a potential OotP Tonks), I don’t really mind :laugh_hard: We‘re almost at the point where everything new they‘re releasing feels like a bonus

Any excuse to bring up my table again of the most prominent missing characters as of the end of 2021.  Obviously this omits any missing variants but there's still loads of significant figures we're missing and the summer wave doesn't seem to be ticking anything off the list.

Screentime Mins   Book Mentions
Narcissa Malfoy 6.75   Percy Weasley 486
Barty Crouch Sr 5.25   Kreacher 312
Percy Weasley 5   Bill Weasley 302
Xenophilius Lovegood 5   Barty Crouch Sr 295
Fang 3.5   Ludo Bagman 246
Rita Skeeter 3.5   Rita Skeeter 188
Scabior 3.5   Igor Karkaroff 165
Aberforth Dumbledore 3.5   Peeves 164
Igor Karkaroff 3.25   Winky 162
Nigel 3   Poppy Pomfrey 156
Kreacher 3   Rufus Scrimgeor 153
Mundungus Fletcher 3   Mundungus Fletcher 147
Bogrod 3   Angelina Johnson 135
Katie Bell 2.75   Xenophilius Lovegood 124
Marge Dursely 2.75   Katie Bell 116
Rufus Scrimgeor 2.5   Charlie Weasley 110
Cormac McLaggen 2.5   Lee Jordan 109
Blaise Zabini 2.5   Fang 105
Poppy Pomfrey 2.25   Ernie Macmillan 92
Helena Ravenclaw 2.25   Narcissa Malfoy 89

A very useful list. And while we haven’t had any characters on the list confirmed as coming in the summer wave, there’s still possibilities. Crouch Sr. is a decent candidate as an exclusive minifig for the Hungarian Horntail, and if 76480 is Grimmauld as some of us theorize then Kreacher could appear as well. Not to mention the number of characters who could make an appearance in whatever the D2C is.

Wow, very interesting table.

Considering customization possibilities, I would say the most important missing characters are Kreacher, Fang and Rita Skeeter, plus inflated Marge. The other characters could be made, in an acceptable way, with existing part I suppose (of course, I would be happy seeing them made by LEGO ).

Looking at my custom minifigures I still miss Narcissa, Fang, Rita, Kreacher, Marge, Helena Ravenclaw and Winky.

Narcissa is certainly my most desired missing fig but I definitely want a proper Bellatrix with maniacal eyes/laugh, and printed dress slope while this theme is still around. The angry and calm face they give her in the burrow is not good enough.

Additionally people keep saying we should use the cmf face. I disagree. That look had no makeup and darkened eyes, and was representing her prisoner of Azkaban look where she was worn out and jailed. Her movie appearances were largely with her makeup and even then that print has a smirk and closed mouth and her 2011 face remains the best to capture her lunacy. She hasn’t looked quite deranged since then, just angry or stoic which I do not feel does her justice. And then there’s the plain black slope piece. Lol.

In short the other characters would be nice to get but a new and proper Bellatrix and Narcissa is all I’m really clamoring for.

If we get DH Gringotts then we’ll at least get Hermione polyjuiced as Bellatrix, and they’ll have to do a new print for that! XD

Plus, now that DH sets are finally on the table, I feel like it’s only a matter of time before we get sets based on the Battle of Hogwarts, and both sisters are pretty integral to important parts of the battle. I expect to get newer versions of both sooner or later.

As we saw in 2021, I'd love a wave of Hogwarts sets based on the Battle of Hogwarts. I don't think one large set would cover it minifigure wise. The Viaduct Courtyard, the Boathouse, the Marble Staircase and the Room of Hidden Things could all be the major part of sets with the battlements and catwalks making the roofs and outside walls a bit more interesting. As well as the usual suspects, it could take quite a few of the list.

Narcissa, Blaise, Cormac, Katie, the Grey Lady, Scabior and Aberforth were all there.

Would be cool to make it the focus of a whole years playsets to be honest.

You could also have the Bridge and the Forbidden Forest.

I caved last year and bought the 2011 Narcissa on Bricklink figuring we would never get another after she didn't appear in DA.  Was only about $10.  For an older figure I think the printing looks great and she doesn't look out of place with the 2018 figures at all.

All of my 2010-11 figures still look perfect with new ones in my opinion. The only annoying discrepancy is the use of the old slope piece for dresses rather than the newer dedicated dress piece.

I would say 2010-11 was a knock out for minifigures for sure, especially compared to what was released in the theme prior to that. I got back into LEGO in 2010 BECAUSE of the Harry Potter releases. But I'd always welcome updates sure. But they look good overall for the most part.

When do people think we will start seeing leaked minifigures for the new sets? Also what characters do people want to see first? Just starting a chat aha.

If we don’t see any soon then we might not get any at all. Which is entirely possible given how things have been going on the leak front recently.

If we do get any leaks, I personally hope they’re from the as yet unnamed retailer exclusive set, since that could tell us what it actually is.

@Accio Lego is right. If the factory leaks don‘t start soon, we might as well see the official reveals first :laugh_hard: Whoever the new leak specialist at TLG is, they‘re doing an amazing job it seems!

If minifigs do end up leaking, I hope to see the MoM minifigs first. I want to know which hairpiece they‘re using for Yaxley (please not just Draco‘s hairpiece!) and whether the two mystery minifigs are actually Cattermole and Runcorn :classic:

Can someone remind me when the next wave of sets are due to release? Haven't been able to keep up!

I also broke and picked up a lot of the 2010-11 minifigs. Narcissa, OoTP Ginny and DH Neville are all highlights. Even picked up Bellatrix's skirt piece (cheaper than the full minifig on bricklink) and use that on my Burrow Bellatrix, with another copy of the CMF head.

June 1st :classic: If the pattern stays the same, the sets should be revealed in roughly 2.5 to 3 weeks

Just to understand, in 2-3 weeks we can already expect the official reveals of the June sets?? 😍

Yaxley has a ponytail so Draco’s hair would definitely not work!

Well guess what hairpiece they‘re using in the prelim  Granted, we cannot expect a new mould for that, which would be required if the goal was to be as accurate as possible, but I‘m still hopeful it‘s a recoloured version of one of the existing ponytail hairpieces

Or maybe they didn‘t realise it even was a ponytail to begin with :laugh_hard:

Wow, I had never seen this Ginny or Neville, the are indeed excellent figures. Guess I am spending my day going through all the 2010/11 sets to make a brick link list!!!  Does anyone else have any stand out 2010/11 figures they recommend having in a 2018+ collection?

IMO the 2010 Molly Weasley is better than the new ones, and the 2010/11 Lucius is good to have for both his regular face and Death Eater mask, though I actually prefer the 2005 version's mask.

Agreed with Molly, I like the Arthur too in the alternate outfit from ththe old Burrow set. This could become an expensive day!
