It is going to be a truck, that can be converted into a 4 leg walking vehicle (like the ATAT) I have a first prototype for the leg deployment mechanism : Truck Mode Walking mode : For now it's still an early prototype, but the plans are to make something that is able to rise on his own leg. I agree that it is concerning whether or not those linear actuators can take the weight, so I imagine you'll either need to keep the weight quite low or come up with something a bit stronger.
