LegoOliver Posted October 26, 2021 Hi I'm in the process of building a western town. Then I will hear if there is any- one who could come up with any ideas for which bricks are good to build with. It could be anything from landscape, houses, mountains and much more? Hope there is someone with some cool ideas :-) Sorry I'm not good at English Have a nice day :-)
Jack Sassy Posted October 26, 2021 There are plenty options for building such towns, you could use only modern pieces or dive more into classic stuff. Some pieces that might help: Big Ugly Rock Piece (BURP) 32x32 tan baseplate (There are multiple raised baseplates you can use, but I suggest you explore them.) 1x4 brick with log profile (Also paired with 1x2 of the same type.) 2x6x6 log wall panel 6x8 slope (Very good for roofs.) 2x2x4 bush These are just starters so there are couple more pieces, hope this helps. 1963maniac Posted October 26, 2021 Bricklink shows 22 "Western" sets. Check their inventories. Most of those sets are of the "prairie" part of the American West. There are no mountains or desert in these areas. Teepees were used by Souix indians. Stockade forts would never have been built in the southwest part of America. Lego incorrectly mixed in elements of the Pacific Northwest, such as "totem poles". Land forms make a big difference in how people lived and what they built with.
