Edit: Again the same procedure: Replicating in this scale is neary impossible, even the newer 8 stud wide Speed Champions cars look better.

The draft from @Void_S looks sooo much better. But I didn't expect much by Lego here - like @Jundis said, this scale is extremely difficult to work with.

Apparently, the set comes with some Augmented Reality functionality, just like the Porsche.

The issue with the front end is the headlights. They are at least a full stud too low. Otherwise I think they did quite well for the scale.

I agree. I think they did great on the styling for the scale. It looks more recognizable to me than the Corvette did. And I love the lime!

It, and Porshe pullbacks have noticeble forward incline, I think the front wheels are shfter upperward at 0.5 stud. At least, the gap between wheels in front and rear looks different and too small at front to be achived with non-fractional offset.

I remember when the car transporter came out, ppl were complaining bout Lego not offering enough rolling stock to play with it - though we already had the Vette A and B back then.
And even if this is not the scale I prefer, it feels good to see a constantly growing fleet of cars filling that gap, like Senna, Formula E and especially this one.
I'm looking forward to see videos with all these recent 15 studs wide sports cars alongside the iconic 42098.

Maybe a crazy guess but again, compiling all the parts in the given scale and inspecting the photos, I found two pullback motors here (their DBG traversal cylinders are barely visible between the lime rear bumper and black 13L beam with exhaust pipes.
Taking the odd width of the vehicle, the motors should have 1L gap inbetween where some gear with a ratchet is placed.

@Void_S you don't need to speculate, the product page clearly says it has 2 motors:

Pull-back function – With 2 pull-back motors, controlling this cool car toy is easy. Just pull back and then release to send your car speeding along

At this scale it looks really good. Way better than the Corvette, although the rear sticker lights could be made out of bricks.

Looks alright for this scale, and I guess that it might be fun. For kids at least, for me it is an easy pass, as I don't like it and I do not like stickers and this set has so many. Do I see correctly that on the black 2x2 tile between taillights (sticker) and the cobra logo (also sticker) there is a black sticker? :laugh: I guess to make it mat...

Seems like there will be no steering on this model: I can see no HoG nor turning wheels, and I think it would not be suitable with the pull-back feature... Even if the model looks great (to me, at least), it means that this model will have just no functionality (except the rather childish pull-back thing), which is a pity for a $50 set!

Plus to that, the front wheels are made of wide (old) tires and rims, and located too outward and close to fenders, so they could steer with only virtual pivot trapeze geometry. Which I higlly doubt is placed here. :cry_sad:

I like this one and I think I'm going to remove the pullback motor and add steering. And reverse the wheels inside out!

Wow! Being Russian speaker, I need to give here some explanation:

The ratchet is made of two liftarms: rubber 2L part-sprunged gray liftarm at the bottom (the ratchet itself), and red double-bent liftarm which is the lock for the ratchet. When it lowered, it moves the ratched to the "drive axle" and prevents its forward-rolling, only pullback reversing "charging". When it raised, it unlocks the ratchet disengaging it from the drive axle, so it starts moving the car.
