Ayrlego Posted September 19, 2021 After the capture of the Lotii scout last month, no further enemy activity had been observed in the nascent settlement. Nonetheless, Captain Keats continued to prepare for potential attack. Admittedly, the Corlanders were not in a strong position on the island they had christened Annettaskrona. Brickford Landing consisted of mostly makeshift buildings and a tiny garrison, with most of the forces that were present at the initial founding transferred back west for the Terraversan war. As part of his efforts to consolidate the Corrish presence, Captain Keats had supervised the raising of a fortified stores depot, one of the first permanent structures in the settlement. The building served the dual purpose of providing a secure, dry place for military supplies, as well as providing a defensible structure should the settlement come under attack. Here Captain Keats supervises the storage of a new batch of recently arrived supplies at the depot. Part of our shift back to the war with the Lotii, especially in light of the recent KPA news! Spud The Viking Posted September 19, 2021 Superb build! I appreciate the change to the yellow colours from your usual palette! I'm glad to see Corrington taking appropriate measures against the Lotii.
LM71Blackbird Posted September 19, 2021 Sweet build! I like the color and overall design of the building. We usually don't see too much yellow, but its a nice touch.
NOD Posted September 19, 2021 Looks good from the color and with the tower. With the soldiers and the many goods it is a living build.
Ross Fisher Posted September 19, 2021 So bright! Love the construction. As always, fine work.
Kai NRG Posted September 20, 2021 The yellow looks really good with the nougat, love the red shutters too and the spiky grass.
blackdeathgr Posted September 21, 2021 Although it hurt my eyes initially (maybe it's the laptop screen I am using), yellow is a nice, more Caribbean change of colors in BoBS buildings pallet. As Kai wrote, it blends with nougat perfectly. And ofc when the Ayrlego trademark style is present, everything else can go down the drain!!! Great as usual that is! evancelt Posted September 21, 2021 (edited) Glad to see Captain Keats make another appearance! The yellow and med nougat work really well! And the regular nougat complements the tan well too. Nice work! I'm a big fan of the brown tricorne and new redcoat torso combo we have going on in Brickford Landing Edited September 21, 2021 by evancelt
