Definitely not, as much as that would be a dream for me. There will be only one. Releasing two at once is just a bad business tactic.

I have some predictions for 2022 H2, and I think we will get some Aircraft, maybe a Skycrane, a Truck in scale of 42128, 42112, 42098 etc. Volvo or other company (JCB Backhoe pls) construction equipment and ofc 1:8 Supercar

Those are properly good guess. You can discuss the predictions here:

Personally, I would like to see a 42114 scale construction truck. A proper (that yields no controversy) aircraft is also overdue.

If you know anything about the way LEGO releases sets, you'll know that is exactly what they do. This year for example, the only 2H set I would consider a car is the Ford Raptor. The year before there was the Lamborghini (part of a biyearly series) as the only car. 2019 had the Land Rover (technically October but whatever) and I guess the 42099 off roader. 2018 only had the Bugatti (again, a series). See what I mean? Second half will consist of exactly what you want plus one supercar, and you can quote me on that if I am wrong.

In addition to Raptor there is the Batmobile, though at least Brickset lists it as 2022 set for some reason. But you must consider that 1H had the Ferrari, Senna and Wrangler which are all proper car sets in my books, so I'd say there has been more than enough cars this year and I see no reason for the next year to go much differently. In 2020, in addition to Sian there was at least the Dodge and Top Gear cars. For 2019 it would be Corvette, Porsche and Land Rover, which makes at least three cars per year and I'm not counting pullbacks here.

For 2022, only two construction equipment sets have been announced and they both are really small. I don't expect the John Deere to be that special either and the same goes to the transformation vehicle. Hopefully the second half will bring some real goodness like the Tow truck this year but for now the only actually interesting set for me is the ATV, as it appears to have some nice functionality in relatively small package.

I have no idea what you are getting at. I only listed 2H sets, because that’s what @GoldVillage was talking about. As far as I am aware the Batmobile only released in America so far. The Dutch, Australian and British LEGO shop page shows it releases January 1st 2022. The Dodge Charger released in March 2020 If I remember correctly, I don’t consider that a second half year set. First half is almost always filled with cars, and the second half is when they’ll release the construction sets, trucks, cranes, etc..

So again, I highly doubt there will be more than one car this summer, because the car they will release is supposed to take the spotlight. Just like 2016, 2018 and 2020.

The Batmobile would have been a 2H set globally if the movie hadn't been delayed. After all its number is 42127 and there were rumors about it being a movie car since Jan 2021.

Well that depends. There's a job opening in the UK at Lego which is a big deal for the future of PU/control+, which someone I know has applied for. There can't be that many embedded systems specialists who are also current afols with large and growing Lego collections to pick from. He knows first hand all our concerns. If he's successful then my confidence in the future of PU/control+ will drastically go up.

Could be worth of rethinking, but I'm bad in foreseeing future, so I'll be wary about that. Besides new motors are to big for my MOCs and I can not stick 2 or more motors to one channel; even PF L motor is causing me a problem for last model that I (partially) work on because it is 7 studs long...

Regards

I'd be surprised if a single person could significantly alter anything there. I know multiple people involved in the development of PU for years, they are all nice guys, they know all of the concerns and the feedback of the community, but they still work for a multinational company with all the downsides of the system. This is totally off-topic here, but I really don't think PU is in this state because of the people involved.

On no! I didn't want to imply that the people they have working on PU are in anyway "the problem". And maybe I overestimate the scope of the job or the freedom they will have. But if they are hiring for an embedded systems architect then I can only assume it's because the current team are in need of some extra support, which is in no way a bad reflection on the individuals within that team. If they need more help there's no shame in that at all. We all need help sometimes, especially if it's a relatively small team at the core of designing such a complex product for an understandably quality and safety driven toy making multinational. Asking for more help and getting it from not only an embedded systems specialist but one that also happens to be an AFOL, that can only be a good thing, right? I definitely didn't want to imply that PU is in this state because of the people involved, I don't think that at all. And I probably shouldn't have used the word "drastically" without the proper context I just said, I just meant that he'd be a really great addition to the team.

If someone know people who work in C+ team please send this.

I use Iphone SE2. Not Ipad. All control setup is small as sit. Including programmable control. I can't even connect to any song on the piano.

It's been many month since it got this small, but it's still like this.

I think contacting Lego's official technical support would be be more appropriate.

Yes it is to do with the screw on lid of the battery box,  there is another new standard which covers the AA battery boxes  and states they must have to be removed with a tool. It is going to be in most countries but the dates of implementation vary. That is why there is no Zetros or CatD11 available in NZ

Some set number info about probably the  2HY 2022 sets:

42143
42144
42145
42146

Missing 42142 might be the UCS supercar.

At least we know got 4-5 sets in 2HY.
