After this year's Zetros and CAT leaks that turned out to be very different from the real products I start to think TLG now plays a misinformation game with the leakers to track their sources and also to confuse them :)

Those so called ‘leaks’ might be actually a market strategy to test the response and origin from TLG marketing team 😂

Lol… abit confusing now as I saw another version of list for 1HY 2022 by jjpsleaksite. Totally different from the first version i saw from reddit.

42127 - Batmobile, $99.99
42130 - TBA (18+), $199.99
42132 - “Chopper”, $9.99
42133 - Telescopic Handler, $9.99
42134 - Monster Jam Megalodon, $19.99
42135 - Monster Jam El Toro Loco, $19.99
42136 (missing)
42137 - Formula E Porsche 99X Electric, $49.99
42138 - Mustang Shelby Cobra, $49.99
42139 - “All-Terrain Vehicle”, $74.99
42140 - App-controlled Transformation Vehicle, $129.99
42141 - TBA (18+), $179.99

This list sounds more plausible. It lines up with the Stonewars list from last year. 42127 was said to be an IP vehicle [edit: with movie license!] for €100. 42130 had no name or price tag attached so it makes sense it’s licensed.

The 42127 Batmobile was said rumoured this car

But isn’t something weird that a Technic batmobile? Suppose in Lego DC Comic line not Technic?

Somemore there are already 2 batmobiles launching soon this October & November

Sounds like a set (set - set, haha!) of Light Bluish Gray panels is coming. Please, please, make it LBG (with small wheelarches ) with blue stripes!
However, I won't mind having new blue panels too.

This one actually makes more sense, especially the pullback monster trucks and the bigger H1 flagship.

I also have a feeling Grohl designed the transformation vehicle, it's something totally his style.

This one follows the "lots of cars" trend from the past couple years, so I would agree that it seems a bit more likely.

I think we could also open a 2022 speculation topic for H2. My bet is on a PU powered (2 hubs with 8 motors or 1 hub with gearboxes) mobile crane, it's long since we had a proper large (could use the new-ish front tyres from the batmobile) 8-10 wheeled one.

I would totally be on board for a flagship mobile crane. It would also fit the trend of a tracked flagship one year followed by a wheeled one the next (Liebherr, Volvo, CAT, etc.).

I came to say the same thing but you already said it.

Really hope the TBA ones are not cars also.

42141 seems like a follow up to the 42125 Ferrari set. Both 18+, same RRP, presumably licensed. I'm almost certain. I just wonder what it is...

Unfortunately I think it's a safe bet that they also will be. It's so disappointing - all I want in life is some interesting construction vehicles in the $100-150AUD range.

I don't think there's gonna be a 42125 clone in 2022, because there's supposed to be a premium 1:8 car later in June. This is also why I find the second list not as believable as the first one. The last set in the first list is 42140 - TBD Control +, $129.99, 398 pcs, which is consistent with a 42109 clone and its appearance in 2020.

A wave of leaks from other themes accompanied this second one though, all from the same person

There's no 42130 in the 2021 Technic lineup. The CAT's number is 42131. 2021 2H lineup contains 42126, 42128, 42129, and 42131.

Oh man, I was so sure, CAT is 42130...? Nevermind.

If the newer list is the real one, I am more than disappointed. Except the small Telehandler we again get racing stuff... only the "Transformation Vehicle" sounds interesting. Could be also a nice theme for the next Technic Challenge :D

This 2nd list is more my style.

Any thoughts if there was to be a follow up to the Porsche and Ferrari's, who wouldn't love a GTE Corvette?

If this second list is the correct one (kind of hoping it isn't), it at least means TLG isn't done with Monster Jam, and quite frankly they would be stupid to give up that license. The £8 telehandler sounds good as well, so that is also something. A little something, but something nonetheless.

Usually I don't really care what they are as long as they are executed well. But this time I'm glad the first list was a fake only because of the backhoe, which is perfect flagship material.
