Masters on the Universe (wish:)

Hi :)

I just noticed Masters of the Universe is going on air again, with modern animation (check out trailer) on Netflix

So, is there a possibility that we get this theme in LEGO form? :)

I know there are some (very cool) custom made minifigs (I have a set, but I somehow keep it in a bag, it is not official, after all, and that is important to me:)

How likely do you think that we will get this theme?





I loved the figurines and lore when I was a kid - I strill have few :D It would be so cool to have official LEGO

...and Sauron :D but that is another story :D

Not going to happen unfortunately. Megabloks / Megaconstrux have the rights to this licence. They make a range of sets and don't say it too loud, but the Castle Grayskull is actually quite cool. The figures are absolutely horrid though 🤪

minifigs are not LEGO-like, so maybe there could be room for magic :) In any case, maybe their licence is close to ending, or they do not have good sales and they end it - who knows :)

One can hope - I hoped for The Lord of the Rings minifigs - and they came trough :)

My only sadness is that I didn't hade any money then :) But I would love to have had all the minifigs and make a huge diorama :) (Actually, I did, it is 12x12 48x48 baseplates, but more on that in another topic, I will make one today:)

It would be great to see Masters of the Universe, but last I knew both He-Man and Megabloks were owned by Mattel, so I don't think that they are going to hand off their own property to a third party when they already have their own brand of construction toy. :(  Unless maybe it is for something silly like BrickHeadz. :P
