(Concept Art) U Wing in Rogue One by Thom Tenery

You can find a lot of stuff in the WWW about the development of the U Wing. Finally a very stylish design was chosen which main role was to look good at  the side of an X.wing.

Here the U wing looks more like something which followed the gunship design of the LAAT. Ugly, lots of weapons and army.

Nice Pre-U-Wing. Looks like a Mashup with the LAAT/le patrol gunship.

Great build! The ship is quite big, almost minifig scale. The engines are fantastic!

Well, I rebuild it several times, so I guess 30 hours over 4 weeks...
