Based on the iconic Docking Bay 94 concept art with McQuarrie's revised Pirate Ship design replacing Colin Cantwell's version (Cantwell's later became the Blockade Runner), and our heroes meeting up with the captain of the ship.

Good choice! Viva Ralph McQuarrie!
Everything is done in a meticulous way, I enjoyed noting some details. Especially in contrast with final movie version and lego version of that scene. 
And of course the photo itself is spectacular (with the light and all).

Thank you - funnily enough I bought the latest Y-Wing 75249 a couple of years back to turn it into a McQuarrie version. This seem like the perfect time to realise it, but when researching reference pics, this beautiful one of the Docking Bay showed itself (I was already familiar with it), and I thought I could pay better tribute to McQuarrie's style using the Docking Bay scene than the Y-Wing hangar.
