Tried to make an engine with this kind of mechanism but it had too much play, would be cool if Lego had a ring gear that could be used in a Cycloidal mechanism but alas the only way  found was with tank track wrapped around a tire; which was again was not stiff enough to make an engine out of.

I saw this mechanism as virtuel animation by Ken. copied it wobbles too much
