Gray Gear Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 (edited) I recommend using LDCad as well. Once you get the hang of it LDD feels like a Kid's toy, so much more possibilities. Edited May 11, 2021 by Gray Gear Quote
SUPER Max Black Posted May 11, 2021 Author Posted May 11, 2021 Well, here are the final photos of my steering axle. Side part - replaces a part that is not inserted. 6 minutes ago, Gray Gear said: Я также рекомендую использовать LDCad. Как только вы освоитесь с ним, LDD станет детской игрушкой, гораздо больше неприятностей. But how to build in LDcad, I have not figured out yet. Quote

SUPER Max Black Posted May 13, 2021 Author Posted May 13, 2021 (edited) I would like to suggest something new: This is the rear axle that efferman did. I really liked it, and I want to do the same in LDD. The only but: This part is not in LDD. Edited May 13, 2021 by SUPER Max Black Quote
SUPER Max Black Posted May 13, 2021 Author Posted May 13, 2021 (edited) This part was produced from 2003 to 2006. Edited May 13, 2021 by SUPER Max Black Quote

Just make it a group and save as template. Then, each time you import the template it will be spawned as a group. Here's a functional version: download. It doesn't have the arch, but connections are accurate. Edited May 13, 2021 by syclone typos Quote
SUPER Max Black Posted May 16, 2021 Author Posted May 16, 2021 At the moment I am sitting and doing the rear axle. I will show progress soon. Quote
Gray Gear Posted May 16, 2021 Posted May 16, 2021 (edited) Please dont feel offended by this, but would you mind not bumping this topic unless you have something intresting to show? You don't need to post every single brick you put in place. Post something when you have made some moajor progress that is actually intresting for others to look at. For comparison: Other builders update their WIP topics maybe every few weeks at most, but often even less than once a month. And the updates are more than a single line of text with maybe one picture. Edited May 16, 2021 by Gray Gear Quote

There should be four studs from the wheel (center) mount to the frame. The axle should be thirteen pins wide. Anyone have any suggestions for this? Edited May 18, 2021 by SUPER Max Black Quote
SUPER Max Black Posted May 19, 2021 Author Posted May 19, 2021 I want to try to make a steerable bridge with Ackerman geometry. Quote
SUPER Max Black Posted May 21, 2021 Author Posted May 21, 2021 Well, here's what I got: This is just a sketch, but it fits perfectly with the servo motor. Quote
SUPER Max Black Posted January 11, 2022 Author Posted January 11, 2022 I found the perfect example of a 4-speed transmission. Green - in Red - out I'm going to use it to build a truck. Quote
SUPER Max Black Posted January 13, 2022 Author Posted January 13, 2022 Today I was digging through the files and found an interesting assembly. This is the rear axle. and center differential with rear axle lock: I think I will do the same in my future truck. Quote
SUPER Max Black Posted January 19, 2022 Author Posted January 19, 2022 Today I assembled a simple 2-speed transfer case. As always: green - in, red - out. But I did not find a place for the blocker. Quote
SUPER Max Black Posted January 19, 2022 Author Posted January 19, 2022 (edited) So I decided to download new parts for LDD. If it works, I'll show you. Edited January 21, 2022 by SUPER Max Black Quote
