Where does this marvellous (promo?) layout come from?

Recommended Posts

While googling for related stuff I came across this image:

What a wonderful layout, isn't it!

It was somewhere on pinterest (which I detest and I just can't navigate around) so I just took a screenshot of it.

I couldn't find it in n 1981 catalogues.

Any clues?

Ah, those good old days.
I am not sure, but back then there where separate train catalogs/folders included in the sets and/or as part of the instructions and it looks like it is one of them. Since I have 7725 I should have them lying around somewhere but I need to check. Perhaps someone has a quicker answer.

I'm a little triggered by the fact that there is not a single loop to have a train run continuously in such a large layout - apart from the 8 in the center. Other than that, yes, with the remote control functionality this must be much fun!

Curse you: Realizing this, I cannot enjoy the layout as much as before! :monkey:
