[OL - FB] The rat-catcher, Acropolis

Recommended Posts

"It's not enough!" yelled the Canon. Monsieur Gallo knew better than to interrupt him. "Meloche's influence still lingers over those Isles. Heresy is everywhere, and all we have to fight it are spies among our own people? A lowly rat-catcher?"

The rat-catcher's house

"He is dedicated..." the notary volunteered, reluctantly.
"And so he should be!" his master retorted. "Bertrand would've swung for murder if not for me. But that is not the point! How are we going to convert the heathens if we do not take action?"
Gallo shrugged inwardly. It was not his place to strategise.
"Then what does your eminence intend?" he ventured.
"More," Canon François responded, "we must do more..."

Yep, Lugbulk a couple of years ago. But I always had the idea to do a rat-catcher's shop like this.

Thanks. I figured I'd go all-in on the rats, and the lamp just seemed appropriate.

Thanks. I figured a nice shingle roof would work well for this building, and I didn't think I had the parts to make it a double-pitch.

What an original build! I would've never have thought of building a rat catcher's. The rats being displayed around the house give it a lot of character. Same with the gargoyle above the door. Really cool! Loving the rat catcher himself as well. Great face and combos.

The roof looks great! It may require a lot of pieces to build it but the result is worth the efforts.

Wait, is it Master Splinter on the tenon?:pir_laugh2:

Great and definitely unique build! I think we have never seen anything similar before... great roof and clever (although a little creepy) use of the rats!

Oh yeah, this is absolutely inspired by real rat-catcher's shops. Pic below the spoiler:
