I am a huge fan of the artwork from the card game Magic: The Gathering. One piece that inspired me in particular was this panoramic painting by Mark Tedin for the cards Urza's Mine, Urza's Power Plant, Urza's Tower and Karn Liberated.

I decided to build a LEGO model based on the art for Urza's Tower. Since the above image was my only reference I had to to some improvising, especially for the backside of the tower, but I am really happy with how the model turned out. Here's a side-by-side comparison:

Another small challenge during the design of the model was the color choice. I knew I wanted to use medium nougat as the main color for the build, which is a bit limited in regards to parts availability, but in the end it all worked out.

If you have any input or suggestions I would be happy to hear your thoughts!
