Fascinating, great stuff:thumbup:

Just wondering though, why the rubber bands on the pedestal, is it because of the torsional powers pulling the parts apart? I can imagine a lot of stress building up at those points...

sorry for the late answer...the rubber bands are useful for a round movement. otherwise the oloid will rock back and forth
